Anyone know this tosser...? I'll let the e-mails - posted in chronological order - speak for themselves... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
'Bible' is usually capitolized.... "forgotten level of professionalism" ????? Other than that looks ok to me...........
Just a joe in Michigan who was looking to buy a 348 and do his own maintenance this time last year. Guess he went for the TR instead. Ownership must not be his thing.
sadly, another example that class, not even an ounce of it in this case, and Ferrari ownership do not necessarily go together. . . . my condolences to Carol having had to put up with that; she is a southern belle.
What a jerk, I can never think of talking like that to Carol, she is beyond sweet. I am shocked, that blew up faster than a thread on license plate frames.
I did a quick google search under the keywords "Gill", "bad attitude", and "crawled out from under a rock", and this image came up. Is there email access in the Black Lagoon? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Actually, a little research found him in CA. Phone #s and address have been sent to Carbon, but I would suspect the FML already had that info.
He's on another Ferrari site. Was concerned about the cost of maintenance on 328's and 348's, then goes for the 12 (but not for long, apparently). Go figure.
Carbon, It's a shame you did not reply to this person first as your words are the only I see as appropriate on both sides. Clearly he had valid points that were not addressed and a condescending approach typically fails to win customers......especially ones that feel they might have been cheated. As an advertiser, I think it is reasonable to verify the ad was placed. I would think three digital pictures consisting of the ads in three issues would have sufficed, with a "thank you for your ad". I would guess that the guy is upset at more than just Carol and you.
Lets just hope he does not replace it with another Ferrari. Bad attitude.....I'm thinkin Chevy pick up.
I think that it's obvious from his concerns on V8 maintenance costs and emails about his flat-12 car not getting any calls from prospective buyers that the man is in some sort of serious financial hurt. Happens. I wouldn't imagine that his attitude is going to improve his chances, either. Attitude is the killer. I've worn a bullet proof vest to fire more than one employee over the years...when if they'd had a good attitude prior to that point I would have been transferring them to a different job rather than getting them away from my good employees before they spread malaise.
Mark Gill...? Where in California, does this tool live..? Probably mad because he hased to sell his red TR , , , in a hurry.. (ha ha) Couldn't afford the extra charge on his Visa either, even if it was a mistake. I'll bet his home is for sale also......... If you want, I can send over two of my farm workers to deliver a message from Carol to Mr. Gill? Delivery charge is ony $ 20.00
For some reason, I immediately made a mental connection between Mr. gILL and that now-infamous Ebay TR-seller whose previous Ebay transaction was for a, um, well, let's just call an "accessory pump" of some sort. Methinks that Mr. gILL is a bit of a tool himself.
It's a wonder how someone with that limited maturity managed to amass enough money thru life for a TR! With that attitude, I wonder how's his road-rage anger management skills. Anyone who's talked to Carol whether on the phone or at FML booth at Cavallino, knows what a sweet and patient lady she is! KevFla
Just a thought, but sharing private (albeit rather offensive) personal e-mail on a public forum without the express permission of all parties involved isn't exactly good form either...
Wow. Humans are obscenely indecent toward one another. If only we could learn from the Bonobo monkey it'd be a much nicer world.
Monkeys respect each other,,, when they stop slinging poo. Philippine natives also respected the white man, see below Image Unavailable, Please Login
Although I think your reply to him was solid Carbon, I doubt he read past the second sentence. He needs some manners for sure. I agree that he probably is out of his comfort zone with the TR maintenance. BT
I know the name Mark Gill for at least 20 years, but have no idea if it is his real name or a phoney one. His reputation of being an ****** is at least that old....
Now if the email had been written to Carbon, we'd all figure he had it coming, after all, he's had some class A rants with some pretty colorful language here in the past. HOWEVER, sending that to Carol is totally over the top. You can only hope that the bad Karma will come back to him in the form of a Testarosa that sits in his garage until the bank comes and takes it back, or until he unloads it to me for fifty cents on the dollar.
