That was yours before?? Its really huge! Very nice car! But the owner was parking it very near some barricades on the slope. Is it easy to park, seems very low. Wonder whats it like to sit in. Want to change my nick as just got word I would be transferring to coporate loans so no more car loans
Wow! Is it ok for me to go see the cars in the car park? Would like to see upclose without being chased away again!
Jon, Photos of that night please! Make me drool while I'm freezing my butt off in NYC. Thanks in advance.
YOU are lonely, YOU are lonely?! to quote a famous local politician, dont talk kok! maybe i'll do my usual stunt of driving my yellow gay car (thanks rara) and come in thru the exit. thanks in advance for having us mike. too bad your number didn't open. should have bought 0355 instead. maybe this weekend...
Hello? what u talking about? Didn't you work at HSM and at ES, and therefore had the opportunity to fondle the cars?
I know, damn! BTW, we passed each other about 1/2 hour ago. I was in my family car with wife and son so can't blame you if you didn't know it was me!
Still love the rice rocket. By the way mate, if you ever want to get rid of the RS let me know. Only two left and I want one. Either yours or Mikes ex yellow mellow that I think belongs to an SIA guy who just wont sell.
Oh yes, if anyone has a friend or knows someone that wants an old but very reliable 348, please swing them my way...
Hahaha... but I think you got me confused with KDK aka Cow-Peh aka Cow-Boo aka Car Trader aka The Nibble aka Kuching Kurat aka Bak Chor Mee aka Lovette etc... Not doing your job, Mr Bond...
Sorry mate, the RS will never be for sale..Mark and myself will never allow it. It just had the brakes refreshed, new tires and new suspensions..
cannot btw dealers in Norcal blowing out Turbo S for 25k under sticker...You could drive out of the lot with your lovely flying brick for under 100kUSD!!!
Ho dear -if I allow this allegation to pass, it might become a tacit admission that its true. No offence Reddevil77, I see from your profile that you own a 355 - so were you unhappy with my comment that the 355 looks old and is no big deal such that you have decided to lump me in with different company ? In fact, I used to see a 355 everyday although lately it too has been replaced by a Gallardo. I suppose the owner of that 355 (if it was not you), came to the same conculsion. After the love (for the 355) is lost, you just keep feeling short especially when you see the other cars that you keep company with. However, at least the 355s were better than the 348s and Mondials, as reflected by the prices of the latter 2. Whom are the owners of these cars kidding really ? These are not good cars. What is the worst common problem though, to all 3 models, is that the owners of the 355s, 348s and Mondials, many of whom frequent this chat site, tend to make too big a deal about the cars they own. Owners of these 3 models usually start off with short lived declarations of never selling them, loving their lines, great driving experience, great roar of the engine, best all time car and so on, but they invariably end up feeling short when the real thing, a Gallardo, a 997 911 or a 430, pulls up to them and start selling them on the sly usually for a loss to Autobahn, Autoinc or some other dealer who then re-mark up and sells to the next "true believer". The cycle goes on year in year out. For me, true Ferraris available locally, stopped at the 308 and skipped forward to the 355s where they resumed. However, as good as they were, the 355s are looking very dated and old. Frankly, if all I could afford was a 355s, 348 or Mondial, I'd rather go a brand new EVO 9 or WRX STI, rather than to try to pass off as an exotic owner in Singapore when I really cannot afford to.
festive mood la please no more negative words and thoughts about your car this my car that.. We are all car guys, we should share and enjoy the spirit of motoring, this bickling isn't going to help the community. 308, 355, 430, F40, 911, 997, Rice Rockets and Hyundais! They all rock! Car culture is at its best when we all just kick back and hang out and talk wheels.... I am plain sick of it.. I rather read about how the car is and various experiences of individual owners and how its been, rather than what certain "know hows" perceive as what is a true classic or sports car
still trying to convince myself to change to Turbo... heard brian Lim has a turbo w driver. Quite steady lei.
