Don't have to trouble yourself. I'm sure SFChallenge will take lots of pics and post them here.

Who knows, maybe we'll cause so much commotion that CNA will feature us the next morning...

Even though I am not going to be in car financing anymore, I plan to stay on :) Its quite an intersting forum. I guess there is much to learn from everyone here. I see topics on classic cars, modern cars, some very technical aspects of cars, bikes? too, watches, property? This must be the most lively forum I ever come across :)

saw my first one in the flesh yesterday outside ocbc where i was stuck in a jam. black, single digit plate. must say that it looked quite nice, much nicer than when i saw the car at malayan motors (although that was a light colour). only thing i didn't quite like was the back as it looks a bit nondescript. i think they missed the chance to do something really special there (a bit like the beemer 6). having said that, i think the previous incarnation still shades it on pure visual appeal for me. funny thing was the driver was furiously checking out my ride while i was checking his out. after we realised that, we both tried to act cool! hahaha...

Ha ha You were sore just like the rest - but let's not do this.

Yes, when Luca Montezemolo (did I get that right) was hired, cars like 348 disappointed many ferrari owners and he made it his mission to improve the quality of the cars.

The 308 your thinking of is the coupe. Tony Lim has asked 155k for the GTS he is selling. He said that the engine has been built by HS but check with HS is all I have to say. Otherwise, its a rare opportunity to own a GTS.

I think you made the right move. The 360s are likely to remain expensive. In my view, too expensive. I would side step a used 360 for the moment and go for the Gallardos while waiting for price of the 430s to cool. There should also be some interesting action when the R8s arrive.

Maybe you should try to race him! Haha, no lah we gentleman don't do this.

I too had an encounter with an Audi estate this morning @ S.Bridge Rd bearing E?1T, we were also checking out each other's car, nice no plate dude.

speaking of nice no plate, i would not mind getting s-db 9 for obvious reasons but not sure how to go about it. also, probably have to pay an arm and a leg. when i went to es with rara to veiw the two black gcars, both had very nice nos. unfortunately neither owner willing to sell their nos.

Actually I was more of surprised when Luca said it in Forza eons ago but that didn't irked me since I was quite happy with the 348TB I had then. It had many little & big issues but since I didn't buy it new & it was already 15yrs old, I can't expect much.

The Gallardo though, I find it strange how could the factory roll it off the line with such a temperamental throttle/clutch/gearbox for 1st gear & selling it for Euro120K+ new. Unacceptable is a word I would use & several 1st timers were put off because they felt the car too jerky. Well, I've got used to it & overcame the issue by now while I'm very sure the manual box won't have this issue.

I last saw Tony Lim with that 308 about 2yrs ago & he don't have it when I last visited him couple of months ago unless it's available now again? blah blah blah :D

I wouldn't mind a 360spider over my Gallardo & for much less @ that, same year model. Anyway, no regrets so far :)

Desmond, put an ad in the classified under no plates for sale/buy. You never know, someone out there definitely has that plate & might sell unless it's also on another DB9....

Let's hope I get my #plate tomorrow & my journey in motoring will ease for a while. :D
