Found this 456 on Exotic spotter. Is it just me, or is that colour just all wrong? Saw a white 550 Maranello the other day as well. Just not good. Image Unavailable, Please Login
All wrong IMO. This car was discussed elsewhere - someone suggested that it was replica but apparently it is not I think very few Ferraris look good in white but some Lambos look great in white. Ferrari V8's all look good in Red but the front engined V12's don't (IMO) - I'm sure there is a perfectly logical reason to do with body size/bonnet length etc.
IMO its good to be different. Not that i like the colour but i appreciate the car is unique and the owner likes it. Judging by the plate, I reckon this car may belong to a family with extreme wealth and is one of many.
I think the 550 looks stunning in red. There is a really good example in a thread over on CS at the moment. I do however think it looks even better in TDF. The 456 on the other hand is to my mind overwhelmed by red and is much better in a darker colour. I think the 599 is fine in Rosso Corsa but is even better in the darker Rosso Monza used at the launch. I think it is a shame to see some many of tehm appearing in Nero and the various Grigios. Although the car still looks wonderful I don't think those colours do it true justice.
Pics of my photoshopped skittle-coloured 348. Pink is starting to 'grow' on me as a matter of fact. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
