I am a fan of just plain wheels. Wheels should be silver. Gunmetal/titanium works. I am really a fan of HRE wheels. I dont like shinny wheels or wheels matched to the color of the car. I think the only car that worked on was some of the really old porsches. Sorry, I am not trying to say your car looks ugly or anything because I really do feel that a car should be an extension of the owner. If you like your car and really like black wheels, then you should do it.

 

I usually prefer silver, but on that car the black wheels look good!

ugh, i def just threw up my lunch. There was one on ebay a couple months back. Pearl orange with orange wheels. i wanted to take a bat to it.

 

certain cars can get away with certain looks/mods.

it is not so much the color that matters, more so the actual rim style and design. a car, like the gallardo, with a blocky, hard-edged design should probably have a plain, five-spoke rim.

personally i think gunmetal looks best on most cars depending on the complexity of the rim and the color of the actual car itself.

to each their own.

btw joey, those rims look great. i love deep-dished, polished rear rims. black looks damn fine with that dark silver exterior.

 

Yes, stock gunmetal or silver wheels look great...

Black wheels look "bad" gives it that racing look. Just check out some GT racing footage you'll black and gunmetal.
