    Heres the video off EVO magazine testing the 599 on a rolling road. I read the story in the mag a few months back. On the 1st few runs it was not getting near the claimed output which left the team puzzled, as the same car had set some great performance figures on the test (below claimed figures, in less then perfect conditions)
    Someone suggested that there might off been some wheel slip on the rollers in the early runs, so they swapped fresh rubber, problem cured !!!!!

    621 hp at the rear wheels indicates an even higher engine output not putting into account that the engine of this 599 might not have covered at least 6000 miles when the V12s normally start to find their full engine output.

    That would be engine HP, not rear wheels. No way 599 has 620HP at the rear wheels. That would be around an 800HP engine. 599 is rated at 600HP@the engine from the factory. :) They must have the convertor set on the dyno to show engine HP, which is just a 'close' calculation anyways. Rear wheel HP is most accurate. :)

    Correct, the results are converted by the dyno !
