yes you are correct to some degree ...you sighn up and then on your home page there is a button that says invite if you like the site you click this button and invite your friends by email....you can surely meet new people there but a better waty then just takeing a stab in the dark and crossing your fingers based around computer compatibilty....for instance there is this feature on there called a cirkit connect.....what this does is it allows you to actually drag and drop one of your contacts into the boxes linked together located to the right of your contact list then drag and drop another one of your contacts into the other box type a little introduction to the two below the boxes and submit...this can be used for many perpouses dateing , bizznez, or friendship...why this to me is cool is because 1 you can drag and drop avatars witch again is unmatched anywhere on the internet it operates much more like a desk top application then a website because everything is real time...and 2 because its you makeing a introduction to 2 people that you think will enjoy meeting oneanother...try it you ill see what i am talking about

I am a tech savvy user (in fact I built websites for a living) and your site still confuses the hell out of me. I know what you're trying to accomplish but there is some basic functionality that I would like to see implemented in a 'simple' format (as it's pretty much the least intuitive site I've seen in a long time).

I'm not trying to slander you here as I'd like to see this succeed.. I'm just not going to hop on a band-wagon because "it's better" and I'm not going to sit and teach myself how to use it. To some degree it has to follow some basic guidelines that we've all become used to.
