    Hello, I didn't win @ 45 :(

    Watches don't thrill me anymore

Enough of rims & tyres & I still have 3 sets @ Hurry which I'll not use anymore :(

Beautiful, intelligent & sexy babe cost more than that lah.

Maybe should use that money to complete my O levels.

MILK run? Maybe go buy myself a "Patron of Arts", is it enough?

    Suddenly money seems so small.

CT's real.. not one of the "multiple personalities". if KDK can manage 400+ posts for any of his multiple personality accounts, that's a real feat.. must login to different accounts, think up of new names etc.. if he managed 400 posts for all his accounts.. he can beat lung's posts.. haha

Talking about plates(a bit left behind) is there any SGF430?

Lung, your F430 already got new owner?

Yup, 348 sucked back i the early 90's when it was compared against the NSX and it sucks even more now. No question about it. Performance was no good then and there is no point saying it is going to be any better now. Service costs and spares are killer too... steering rack for 15k, 2 fuel pumps at 8k etc on a car that is recognised as one of the mistakes of Ferrari.

And yup, I will sell it if I can find someone to take it off my hands, but only at the price I want. Otherwise I will let it rot in my garage. No matter what, it was the first Ferrari I sat in when I was a kid and it still holds some weird attraction to me.

308s and the 328s are acknowledged to be modern classics, and their prices internationally recognise this fact... but whether they will ever reach true classic status like the 246 Dino, 275GTBs, 250SWBs or the all mighty 250GTO is something I doubt. But who cares , if the owner likes it, nothing else matters.

But on the 993, that is recognised as the last of the great air cooled Porsches, and their price clearly reflects that with prices exceeding those of 996s (bastards of the 911 world much like the 964 series and the Ferrari 348 series). Clearly not a better performer than a 997 or 996 but valued higher by Porsche enthusiasts, many of whom could afford th newer 911 incarnations but chose not to. Especially the rarer RS and RSR variants and the ultimate of them all... the 993 GT2 which today costs more than a second hand 360 on international markets, some 10 years on.

Hey dude, I paid less than S$3.5K for my 348 steering rack & I'm sure the fuel pumps would be half that. Take 2 days leave & search the web, make some calls & you'll save more than S$10K. Trust me, I did it :)

0-100 in less than 6secs, still pretty fast in today's standard & who does that on the street anyway? 90% of the folks are doing less than 100 daily here (not counting highways).

Mate, I call a spade a spade. Any way, car is first "quasi exotic" I have ever owned so dont mind letting it rust away at home for sentimental reasons whilst I save for my Pagani ;p

Jon, prices are what Hong Seh charges... I am sure that one can get it cheaper off the net but I just dont want to take chances and leave the car in a semi working stage whilst hunting for parts.
