Besides you are going to need a lot more than just a donor F40.You are going to need a dremmel tool quite a bit of sand paper and lots of tools and materials to boot not to mention nerves and skill.Patience always helps too.You are also going to need to repaint the whole thing and mind you resin, diecast and photoetched parts don't react the same way to paint.I'll give you a good deal too.

If you haven't done any modeling before I'd get someone else like lucky to do it for you. If you have done modeling before go ask on a dedicated modeling website for specifics.

I have no idea what your transkit consists of, but I assume it has parts for the front hood, new rear spoiler, wheels and engine parts. You will need to cut the rear wing(remove the center section of it) and be carefull with a couple of things.First off superglue AND screw down the wing at its base. Then you cut it.
With the front I don't know if you have in the kit the entire upper "shell"(which would be better) or you would have to cut out the center of the hood either way, both with the wing and the hood keep in mind the material which you are going to loose from your cutting wheel. Most F40 LMs also have an extra NACA duct on the sides of the body just bellow the door. It is very tricky to replicate but I don't know if it is addressed at all in your kit.As for paint, I would use filler putty just as on a real car and I like TAMIYA grey etching primer which you can shoot straight from the can. After that you sand it and you can use any paint you like.Hope I was of any help at all.
