I had done it without the underline '_' and when I posted it all the LX's (that is 60 in roman numerals) colapsed together so I edited it. Spent too much time time on it and yet I had the time, have to get a new hobby, uh, I forgot F-chat is my new hobby. stephen
Started looking for the car at age 38 and found it at age 40. I've had my dream car for almost 6 years now. Hope to add a stablemate by years end.
I don't care how much money you have or who your ancestors are, but you are ******. Fact remains fact: just because you have money - which, again, you inherited before setting out on your own - that doesn't give you the right to walk into dealerships or other places and think that you own the place. You were rude and disrespectful before he said anything to you: you knowingly threw down the sign and sat in the car, when you clearly should not have. That you had enough money to buy it or that you bought it makes no damn difference. Sure, the guy you attacked was wrong and you did buy it, but does that mean you can call him the things you did? Just because you were born with a silver spoon up your ass doesn't mean you can criticize those who weren't. Just because you have a Ferrari or two or three doesn't mean you're any better than anyone who drives a ****ing Geo Metro. What you are is an ******* with a lot of money who didn't earn any of it. The reason everyone else is behind you is because this website worships money and people with money: they all want a connection to you, whether to say they know you, whether to say they say your cars, or whether to use you. The point is, people say "oh, he's such a nice guy!" Yeah, when having a good time, everyone's a nice guy. But when it comes to situations like these, it is apparent that you're ****** who thinks that just because you got some money without any effort that you are entitled to be a crude ******* with no regard for common courtesy. Flame on. This forum is seriously making me hate Ferrari drivers. There is a minority who are really cool people, but 85%+ are total dicks.
Wow, did you read everything coming up to this point??? How old are you??? How did you act at 18? How would have you handled things at 18?? We have had words on other threads, and are you looking to blast me here? If you hate Ferrari drivers so much, why are you on this forum?? See you around.
Why don't you go fly a kite. If anyone is being a jerk its you and the rest of the Ferrari wannabees.
So, just curious, how do you get through life in general? I meet people every day that piss me off way more than anyone on here ever could...I mean seriously what do you do when someone cuts you off in traffic? I can see you foaming at the mouth now.
I'm actually one of the calmest people you'll ever meet in your life. But what upsets me more than anything is for anyone to think they are above anyone else because of money or other privileges, whether or not they created them themselves or not. I'm not against money nor am I against rich people: I oppose the mentality that simply because one has a lot of money, one should do things which one should not do under any circumstances, such as breaking the dealer's expressed wishes and sitting in rare and expensive sports cars, WHETHER OR NOT ONE CAN AFFORD IT. It's just disrespectful and arrogant.
Was the car not for sale?? It had a window sticker in it? I had every intent of buying it, so what I touched the car I DID buy. I was making there job easier for the they did not have to take off the sign for me, see how humble I was. I could get my hands dirty and do their job for them. You base one hour and a half moment in my life and you think you got me pegged? Why don't we meet and have a little heart to heart. I live in LA so do you, heck I will even buy you lunch, for your time.
But only if he picks you up in his car that a salesman persuaded him to buy. Darn, I didn't check his posts before giving him advice through PM's orelse I probably wouldn't have. John is probably the last person he should be targeting. But I will say Henry, you should take John up on his offer. I KNOW he can give you much more advice or insight to life and business than I ever will.
Look, it doesn't matter if you bought it, don't you understand? You didn't touch it: you violated their rules, moved aside the rope, and sat inside. BIG DIFFERENCE. My initial reaction was about that ONE INCIDENT, not your whole life.
Agree 100%. I was alot more stupid when I was 18yrs old and I am ALOT more stupid now!! But seriously.......pap's example. >>>> On a smaller budget.........when I went and purchased my 1st AU$5K Esp electric guitar at 21yrs old in 2001, I totally ignored signs everywhere in the music shop 'do not touch guitars please' and picked up "my" Esp guitar and started strumming it. When the salesman came over looking rather annoyed, I said I will take it. I just bought my 2nd $5K Esp electric guitar 2 weeks ago, I ignored the 'warnings' and did the same thing. Salesman came over and asked what I thought I was doing, I said I will take it. I am 26yrs old. Same sh*t. Different when we are talking about a $500K car, but the same rules still apply. If you know you are going to buy it, and yellowenzo KNEW he wanted a Ferarri F40 when he inherited his money, then I dont see the problem with this??? I knew I wanted an Esp guitar that day when I walked in with AU$5K to buy the bloody thing. Would be a different story if he did not buy the car, but he DID! More power to you John.
He didn't walk into a Chevrolet dealer either, it's not like he couldn't figure out which color interior he wanted or if he wanted the cold weather package or not. When you are purchases exotics at that level, you have determination before you get there. Even stating that he went somewhere else first before BH. And honestly I don't blame him, I'd be overcome with excitement that I was about to buy the car infront of me. You think a sign would stop me from touching the car I was about to own? FUGGHETABOUTET
