    I think I like the original 8C - the different proportions on this car are a bit odd - but ohwell. It is certainly vastly better than the prototypes they're using now.

    I wonder why there would be an Alfa in a US race series, if they weren't going to sell cars here?

    Odds are Alfa-Romeo will sell the 8C here in the States. It's gone back & forth, but it'll probably happen. There's been too much good buzz about the Competizione in America. I love the car's design. Much nicer than the F430.

    Alfa will race the 8C at LeMans in 2008, and then in the USA in the ALMS in 2009. Same class as the previous AM DB9's, and the current Corvettes. Pinninfarina will operate the team effort.

    Alfa models will be sold in the USA late 2008/early 2009, likely through Maserati dealers.

    Alfa should produce the Diva and then base their racer on that.. please ;)
