I paid $49 for it at the time and recently saw one being sold for around $75. It is well worth the money. If you are concerned about overpaying then $75 should be a fair price.

If I am correct, Automobilia does not have and has never had an official presence in America and therefore a USD MSRP was never established...

My apologies Mondial, you are absolutley correct I was recalling the Cavalleria series of monographs......and they increased in price during the duration of issue.......

I looked quickly and did not realize this wasn't one of those.

Cavallino magazines sometimes handles these items on behalf of Ialian publishing houses....

    Salute

    Late bump but...

I ordered one of these a while back and finally got around to reading it last night. If you already have the owner's manual, you have 80% of the illustrations in this book. Some nice shots of a 328, various Mondial shots, and some minor driving opinions in three languages. Frankly, not worth $60 in my opinion, there's nothing noteworthy about this publication.

This reminds me of a clever comment made by Jay Leno a few years ago when asked why he was not into Ferraris - he said he could afford the cars, but not all of the books....

LOL!! I remember him saying that too.... and its TRUE!
Between the road cars and the F1 AND the historical aspects, there are several new ones out EVERY year. It can add up real fast.
I collect the books and literature myself, but i gotta be choosey... most of the "coffee table" books are kinda repetitious and use brochure-photos so i usually browse them at the book stores and put them back on the shelf...
maybe pick one of them up on ebay a couple years later for 1/3 the price :)

It is indeed a nice "coffee table" book with beautiful pictures that IMHO is well worth having. You can use the translations to learn french and italian (at least the subject matter is interesting). To learn anything about the cars you would be better off with the owner's and workshop manuals though.
