Granted there are scores of beautiful exotics and women from what i've seen in the trailers (www.redlinethemovie.com) but I can't help but think this an "exotic" version of the fast and the furious. Also, add to the fact they DID INFACT crash a Porsche Carrera GT, a Lamborghini Diablo (plus a few others), and what looks to be a poor script...I can't help but wonder how long this movie will last in theaters after it is realeased on 4/13. Any comments? Has anyone seen the previews?

Of course it will suck. Do you have any doubt? These sorts of movies typically start from the visuals and move back towards the script. It'll have a lot of eye candy, like porn, but will lack in the script department, also unfortunate like most porn.

Get my drift? I'm sure a certain fanbase is revved up to see it!

The Enzo they use in the movie is actually someone from this site, he posted pictures awhile back of the filming with the Koenigsegg and CGT. And yesterday on a run this movie actually came up, I don't remember exactly but it was said they specifically crashed a CGT because the producer absolutely hates the car. The guys I was with had some sort of insight or connection with the movie and didn't say anything negative about it. We'll see..

I haven't heard anything good or bad about it, but aside from the CGT, didn't they also crash two of the old widow maker GT2s, which as far as I can remember, are super rare? (can't remember the the 99X designation). I'll still go see it, though.

OF COURSE it'll be stupid. It is a tried and true stupid script i bet, a few stars for bling, the usual yawner tempo and real+CG cars. The odd explosion/crash... The whole thing is an exercise in marketing, soundtrack, and star power (both people and cars).

Next will come the video game version of course provided the movie does not totally suck at the box office.

    Y A W N... 2 fast, 2 furious warmed over.

The cars all belonged to the producer, and he hated the car because he said it tried to kill him.

I can't believe that, after seeing the site and trailer, you still could have to ask the original question ....

Um, Supercars racing on the big screen? I can look past the plot or lack there-of.

Hey I just watched the preview, and this is great! All the young, gorgeous, impressionable, bikini clad hotties will watch this movie and learn that they should be riding in cars like mine, rather than Supras with big wings - cool!

Cars require user input in order to do anything at all...

sounds to me like the problem was somewhere between the driver's seat and the steering wheel.

This is the first time I have heard of the movie. Its nothing more than Fast and the Furious with cooler cars. Its going to be terrible, but I will still probably see it.

C'mon guys, it's not supposed to be a great American classic or anything. Who needs plot when you have someone actually driving these exotics like they were meant to be driven? And throw in some eye candy too? Count me in!

Yup I admit I will probably watch it more than once, like most other car movies. Plus it is the only movie I have seen with an Enzo in it. I feel that it is my duty to correct all the idiots in the movie theater that think it is a Lamborghini, and correct them I will.

It'll be stupid, but I'll rent it just because of the eye candy. Speaking of which...did anyone see a Zonda in the trailer? I didn't see one, but it seems to me that you can't have a movie with all these exotics w/o a Zonda.

Hopefully this doesn't draw more attention from the police to our cars like the Fast and the Furious did to the imports. I suppose most of it was due to the street racing eruption afterwards, but I want no negative attention. Movie looks really bad from the trailer, but I will probably watch it because of my obsession w/exotics.
