the 599 msrp just went up $15,000 effective March 1, 2007. is this insane or what?
An increase just indicates Ferrari priced the car too low initially. It won't hurt the sales numbers. Move the decimal to the right and increase the price 150K and they would still sell out. CH
And some are paying that over sticker for a 599! $15K is less than a 6% price increase! The leather in that car is worth that!
Hardly. From the raw materials side, aluminum alone has gone up 30% in the last 15 months. From the market side, there are more than 400 billionaires in the US alone. Simple decision actually....

If a 599 is at port now, do you think Ferrari of North America would hold it back until March to get the increase?
no this is for orders going in after March 1st. no dealers got any allocations for Feb. either. i guess they held back the allocations for the price increase
Interesting,my order went in about 2 weeks ago for April completion,early to mid May delivery. Wonder if they hit me with the increase?
If you ordered 2 weeks ago , it may be June on your car. Mark I think you will get the 15k increase too.
Two weeks ago did only final go-over over the options ordered. The car is already scheduled for April completion and is already in the system. Scheduled delivery is early/mid May unless I want air transport.
no your car will not have the increase . this is only for orders going into the system as of March 1 not was already ordered
I"m not 100% sure but I was told that all 599s produced after Jan 1 will come with the ceramic brakes. This will affect North American customers only. I was told Ferrari is concerned that the steel brakes are not adequate. Check with your dealer.
