    Please help me. I have a term paper due tomorrow morning and I can do nothing but read F-Chat. What are some good methods to focus in on a task? Seriously.

    I thought about that... but I would probably just go turn on the playstation.

    There have got to be some real methods to fight procrastination.

    go to campus and ask for a 1 day ban... just getting away from all the distractions is probably the best thing to do. It's worked for me a couple times.

    I told you I'd get back to you tomorrow which is today, I think.

    Anyway, there are lots of places to buy themes and papers on the internet.

    Now you will proably get caught and flunked for plagiarism which could eventually lead to jail time, community service or probation. whatever, this will be experience for you because as a procrastinator your best career would be that of a politician. As a "professional" politician you need intimate knowlegde of how the penal system works. Plus, when you get caught it will give you practice on weaseling out of it.

    This is a win-win situation. You can't lose. Not only will have more time too spend on Fchat by not writing your paper, you will be developing the skills needed for your career.

    If you can't make it as a politician, you can always go into NASCAR where the motto is "if you ain't cheatin' you ain't tryin'. :)

    Well I got my paper done. and with 2 hours to spare! I just said the heck with it and went to sleep, got up and came to the library at 7am and knocked it out with a fresh bagle and a hot chocolate.

    F-Chat is darn adicting though... especially when you catch yourself reading through threads that you have already read, and you have already read the thread on the same topic that was posted a few months ago.

    The worst is when you get stuck in those long threads looking at pictures and videos like the "nurburgring cam" thread and last night i was stuck reading that thread in the crazy Aussie section "it's funny cause you're drunk."

    I did see a funny quote in someones signature though:
    "The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese"
