Recap: New Ferrari to be unveiled in June

    Just a recap of the multiple threads and topics...

    Ferrari North America has announed that a new Ferrari will be unveiled in June. There is 3 possible Ferraris that I think will be the one unveiled.

    1) Ferrari F430 Challenge Stradale (aka. 430 Light Pisa) - the follow up to the Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale which is a lighter, faster, more track aimed road Ferrari.

    2) Ferrari Dino - a comeback model from the older Ferrari Dino. This car is expected to have a 400hp front mounted V8.

    3) Ferrari F60 - some say the Ferrari Enzo is the F60 which in fact is false. The F40 and F50 were released for Ferraris 40th and 50th Anniversary. 2007 is Ferraris 60th anniversary, therefore some say Ferrari will be releasing the F60. The Enzo was released in 2003 making it the 56th year of Ferrari. F60 makes no sense for the Enzo.


    Is there any confirmation on any of these models or we will have to wait and see?

    As part of its 60th anniversary celebrations, Ferrari will build a series of 60 truly unique cars based on the 612 Scaglietti. This info. is straight from Ferrari owners website.

    We havent seen any new car mules around Maranello since the Maser Gran Turismo test car..and some few slightly modified F430. So it all points to a $30 Stradale..

    In June it should be the F430LP... (we have been seeing the mules around for a while)

    This fall the F60 (I Hope!!)

    The "Dino" front engine V8 isn't expected till 2009 according to Italiaspeed.com

    My guess is the 430 LP. Im excited for it...but not as excited as I would be to see an F60 or Dino.

    I've been told from a reliable source that the new car will be the Dino except that the name will not be Dino but something else.
