Yes they are hiring. You can call them. they are listed as the Ferrari store on Beverly Blvd. in Los Angeles. They are probably opening around February 27 or so pending inspections. The grand opening is Sunday March 25.
I wrote them an email a few days ago, I was looking for there number because I think its more personal, but I couldn't find it. Thanks
IMO this remark is full of assumptions. I will leave it at that. My response would be the same as the response from Moderator John/FutureOwner when you posted a similar remark: "Really no different than buying an NFL Jersey or something along those lines. It's just supporting the team!" http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=136017428#post136017428
I'd have to agree. I guess you're not allowed to have a passion for something unless you own the company or get paid to do so?
Some people are doing the "poseur crap" thing. But many simply support the racing team and are big fans of the sport. Just like others support Williams or McLaren or the Dodgers or the Bears or any other team from any other sport. Don't automatically assume it always has to do with pretending to own a car...
I'm curious if the BH's F-store will be profitable? My guess is not. There have been several F-type shops open up over the years in LA and every one has closed.(Vegas is a different story) Even the dealers only seem to have a handful of F merchandise in stock at any given time. What's that tell you? The F-merch is probably best left to the Speedgear's of the world, at least for this market. Regardless, it'll be nice to have a good selection of that high priced stuff within driving distance.
From now on, I'm not wearing my Motor4Toys shirt to SupercarSunday unless I get a free cup of coffee each time!!
Do you really think not purchasing a 30.00 cap or 150.00 jacket is going to get you into a Ferrari quicker? Like throwing A lawn chair off the Queen Mary to save weight!
+1 When people ask if I'm a sports fan, I always reply "YES, motorsports." Now, I own a Ferrari baseball cap & Puma's weatherproof Ferrari vintage pit crew jacket... my equiv of a Dodger's jacket I guess. Oh, and the best part is when anyone asks "So do you actually own a Ferrari, PAL?" - I say "Yes" & that usually shuts them up LOL!
Im new here, so I will keep this brief.......Im extremely excited about the Ferrari store!!!! I collect all sorts of Ferrari merch. I also drive an F430. I happen to think that the guy who got out of the Camry wearing a Ferrari jacket is a total............................................................................................................................................................... FERARRI enthusiast!!!! Give the guy a break! I am blessed and VERY lucky to be able to afford my dream cars. I also know what it's like to pick my kids up at school in a VW Jetta while most of the other dads drove high end european cars. I have LOVED Ferrari's since I was 5 yrs old. Im so excited to drive my 430 everyday. I get thumbs up's from guys in toyota's, Nissan's, BMW's, Porsche's and even Bentley's....It's a Ferrari, it makes people smile. Can't we all smile once in a while????? APE
The Ferrari store is an entirely diferent animal fromstores who sell F merch. The merch. is not at all the same. Also, the dealers are not allowed to sell the same merch. as the stores. This is the reason why FBH sell FBH merch. Anyway everyone's suspense will end on Saturday March 3 at 10:00am. See you all there
Went to the opening of the F store today. Stuck in the corner of the 6th level is Shumacher's 2004 F1 inside the brand new Ferrari Store. Only the second one in the states. Pretty cool store overall! Lot's of apparel & gimics. I had my 3 year old in his Ferrari shirt. All the employees at the store were excited about that! Check it out 'yall... worth the parking nightmare in that mall
Went to the store today. Here's some camera phone pics of shumi's car. Store looks good but not everything in stock yet, no shoes or watches. Parking structure is a nightmare. I'm proud to say I was the first customer through the door and the first paying customer at the reg. The store is great, the staff is great. Made me feel like I was back in Italy. I'm looking forward to many more shopping trips there. I'm a shameless promoter of the brand and the merch.
Jay, We got there about 6pm store was reasonably busy. PCH, I overheard an older guy in a suit say that it was one of the few locations with the caliber of neighboring stores to be able to be sucessful. I thoght I heard they were looking to open about 10 stores. I talked to the Manager who said he was from North Carolina and getting used to the area and he was coming up to speed on the Fchat scene.
