Ferrari Racing Days - Silverstone June 8-10

There will be a Ferrari Racing Days at Silverstone on June 8-10 this year. This is part of Ferrari's 60th anniversary celebrations as well as the 40th anniversary of the UK Owners' Club. It is scheduled to include Challenge races, Historic challenge races, FXX sessions, F1 Clienti and the UK FOC's own race series. I hope many European FChatters will join us there.

There is also going to be a track parade of F40s as 2007 is the 20th anniversary of the F40. This was originally going to be of 40 F40s, but I understand more have already agreed to take part. If any F40 owners would like to join in (and are not already on the list - members of the UK owners' club should already have been contacted) please contact the UK Owners' Club. Are you sure about the Historic challenge? Is there a sort of prgramme available yet?

The actual race programme (i.e. order of events) is, I think, still being worked out. There was a meeting about this on Tuesday this week.

The Historic Challenge is listed on their calendar. See http://www.ferraricorseclienti.com/FWorld/fw/events/corseclienti/home.jsp, but you need to look at Historic Challenge then News rather than Calendar as the calendar there still shows last year. As well as that the Historic Challenge races at Silverstone have been mentioned to me through the UK Owners' Club.
