    Anyone know an easy way to rotate a vid. I took a bunch on my phone and they are all sideways

    hahaha, u got me. a friend of mine once gave me a gag gift, a pen with a girl in a bikini, and everytime you opened the pen up, the top came off. i'm still looking for ink cartridges that will refill it. :)

    Sorry for the confusion. But the good news is that the process is similar as outlined in the immediate picture below. Now if you are one of those geek type guys you could try the alternate method found here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/mediaadvice/0075.mspx#EPD or as I reprinted below or you could try something like this http://www.blazemp.com/rotate_video.htm:

    I was about to flip out until i realized you had told me how to do it in movie maker.....problem is, its an mp4 file and movie maker doesn't recognise that kind of file

    Mpeg4 might be a problem. You could try converting it to another format. See http://www.solitude.dk/archives/20060401-1602/ Also a google search of “mpeg4” and “rotate” revealed the following hits that may be of some assistance:
