And hiding starts to bring out the rumors, negative rumors. Hopefuly he makes some positive news in Bahrain.

Here's a few nes from the past days.

    From autosport.com

A spanish magazine "nobbing" Raikkonen http://www.elpais.com/articulo/deportes/Raikkonen/habla/elpepudep/20070215elpepidep_10/Tes

And today from iltsanomat.fi (a finnish magazine) http://www.iltasanomat.fi/urheilu/uutinen.asp?id=1320535 Basicly Massa admits that Raikkonen isnt talking much, but that Massa likes Raikkonen and that cooperating will be going fine. Massa states that Kimi doesn't seem like a guy who would start being political. Massa also names that MClaren, BMW and Renault ans ofcourse Ferrari will be the four teams that wil be competing over the title this year

I believe that the truth is somewhere along the lines of turunsanomant.fi (a finnish magazine)

So Maybe Kimi is just feeling uncomfortable and is staying out of the public and concentrating on driving. Suits me fine.

second or third time this week, FM was faster than Kimi. What do you guys think is going on at ferrari? Is Kimi having hard time adjusting to new team or Massa faster driver. I still think Kimi is better driver but it is getting harder to guess. There are some great new talents this year and I hope Kimi gets together fast.

With all continuity gone from last year, i'am not supprised he is taking a bit off time to adjust! Kimi has always had an aggressive style driving style, so i think that he might suffer more with the change to a harder control tyre then many others.
I also think that Massa has really found his feet at Ferrari now, is he liked by the team, and is very hard worker, and iam sure his close working relationship with Schumi will also have showen him how to get the best off of the Ferrari package..
I would not be suprised if Massa gets the best of Kimi in the 1st stages of the season! Lets just hope that they both get the better of everyone else on the grid !!

With the way testing is going I'm predicting Massa to be ahead of Kimi for the majority of the first half of the season. It would be spectacular to have Kimi catch up with him in the second half and have the WDC come down to a battle between the Ferrari's.

how do we know that the two drivers are on equal footing? they may be doing significantly different programs with the cars...testing is testing...racing is racing...

This is true, they could be testing different components, but I'm still going to guess that Massa will be ahead of Kimi for most of the first half of the season.

Its all part of the ferrari game. Kimi is most likly fine, its the mental game they play every year since i can remember, wont be surprised if Kimi wins the first race out of the box.
