Okay, I know this is probably the most boring post on Fchat ever...but you guys comprise about 90% of our social network.

We've had someone clean our house monthly since we moved to our current house. We've been using a company and they are always good about getting someone there, but they apparently have high turnover and don't ever send the same person for more than a month or two. With the exception of one time, they've all done a good job but we've become just a little leary of having a different person come to our house every month.

Anyone have a person or service they recommend who would come to southlake? If anyone knows of a down-to-earth handyman (ie won't see our house/address/cars and try to sell me a complete remodel), I could use one of those too.

    just PM info.

    Jennie,
Sounds like Rob and Uncle Greg weren't getting their lists done. PM sent for a handyman.

    Phil-
Actually, Rob will tell you that he doesn't have the patience; he would just as soon hire someone as fight w/it himself. On the other hand, I like to do stuff around the house...but sometimes lack of TIME(esp now w/Mia) and TALENT tend to drag out those odd jobs.

    Get to work! ;)

Only thing I'm handy at these days is cars and that's only because farm girl Jennie shamed me 7 years ago by changing her own oil to my amazement. 2 years later I had 18 hours of credit in the auto tech program at Brookhaven. :D Now she also shames me with the yard work, painting, carpentry, electrical, and appliance repair. Those I'm perfectly fine with her continuing to shame me. I don't mind paying, but if that's fun to you, then go ahead, just don't like going a week without hot water!

Hey Jennie - Give Lena a call. We just got someone a few weeks ago that is doing a great job and very reasonable on price.

but overal i think they are all the same.
after a couple of months.. they get complacent..

I like hiring independents.. most of the time theres more value in that.
