In terms of the car as a whole, that's pretty close. In terms of styling? I didn't know BMW did that any more.
GRANSPORT! the more I see the 6 series, it actually gets more boring...I would still take one though, but very normal.
Another vote for the Gransport. There is a black M6 here in my area within the raduis of 8 miles. I see it every morning when I drive to school and I'm actually getting tired of the way it looks. Same thing will happen with the Gransport if I see one everyday. In my case though, there is no Gransport in my area, I still crave for its looks.
That's a Rosie O'Donnell vs. a Playboy playmate comparison. And just like Rosie, the M6 is butt-ugly all by itself too.
Obviously. Now go create the same poll on a German car forum. It doesn't even have to be BMW, try a Benz forum. I'm sure the result will be the same, but in favor of the M6. Don't get me wrong, I think the GS looks great, but to me it's old & time for something new. Now if you asked me to compare the M6 to the new Mase Coupe, I would have to see it in person, but I would probably choose the new Mase Coupe. I'm on the waiting list for it and will likely be one of the first to get one from my dealer.
The Maser looks great now and I'm looking forward to the new one. I've seen a few mingling with normal cars in San Diego shopping meccas, and they're elegant. As I've posted before, I think the BMW 6 series needs liposuction. It reminds me of the Lexus SC -- another automotive miscarriage.
How about a different opinon... they are BOTH fugly in their own ways. GS is way too effeminant. The rear looks like a generic econobox. Overall the car screams boring. M6 is a disaster of 'flame' surfacing and angles that just dont work in harmony. As opposed to the GS which is boring and generic the M6 is actually 'ugly' in a way that will be remembered as fondly as the Pacer. They should both look to the V8 Vantage to see how its done. Just my $.02
Granturismo..oh wait its not out quite yet. Gransport no question, the M6 is cool just not in a styling kinda way.
I was driving behind a red Maser on the 57 the other day for quite some time. I gotta tell ya, I could not find one agnle on that car that didn't look like it came from a 1992 Toyota Corolla. It almost makes me angry because a 21st century Italian designer and coachbuilder shouldn't be producing a car as bland, boring, uninspiring, and assymetrical as the Masers. Sorry to insult those who love 'em, but I just don't understand what the direction was in the design.

Well I owned a 03 coupe, and now a 07 M6. I think I'd give the M6 the edge here, I did though put an ACS rear wing on the M6, it does help the the look of the rear.
While I do not think the GS is beautiful, there is no doubt that it is MUCH better looking than the 6. It reminds me of a beached whale. As if the whole car has been flattened in some sort of grotesque fashion. Darrell.
