I would like to buy a street registerable, 1995 Challenge with as much original Ferrari Challenge stuff as possible. I am not looking for a later conversion with bits added, I am looking for one of the 18 or so real deals. Accident damage OK. JM
Ther eis more than 18 out there believe me. There are a lot more than 18. I wonder where that number is coming from.
I have really agonized over this decision for the past couple of weeks, but its the right thing for me to do. As it turns out, I will be spending a lot more time in India than I originally expected, and theres just not much free time at home between trips. It doesnt make sense to keep the car when I cant enjoy it, and frankly the money will be better utilized elsewhere right now. 1990 348 TS, Red/Tan, 36k miles, $44,000 firm. Has both the factory hardtop and the black fabric targa, Tubi exhaust, SS lip, all original books and tool kit, new tires, new cover, etc. If youre interested, please PM me with your contact info and I will respond as soon as possible. --Jarrett More on FerrariAds.com: http://www.ferrarichat.com/ferrariads/showproduct.php?product=2235&sort=1&cat=11&page=1 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Never hurts to ask. A fried of mine is looking for one and he's looking for that right price so his wife can't turn it down. One of those "I have to get it now honey!" kinda deals.
With a bit of humor and humility, I have asked you on so many occasions about '95 challenge cars, that I kind of just guessed at that number. I am hoping that when you finally find one I can register in CA, you will call me. Even if the car did "fall off a tow truck". notation: Martin knows what cars look like when they fall off a tow truck, and when they have not. He has always made sure that I am very aware of the difference between the two conditions. JM
I am currently looking for a Red 94-95 348 spyder in good condition. There is one in this thread (who I will contact) and another I found on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/348-SPIDER-SIX-SPEED-RED-TAN-BEAUTY-1994_W0QQitemZ190088668971QQihZ009QQcategoryZ6212QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem), but any other leads would also be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone knows anything about the ebay car (history, maybe the past owner is a member of f-chat, ect) or the reputation of "The Sports Car Company" in La Jolla, please let me know. Thanks
I tried to do business with them on a 348ts. He wouldn't let me see the car because it needed work and cleaning up. I told him I was in San Diego for just the week, and I could judge a car "in the rough". He declined, and sent me over to Bobileff to see another car he had over there. He might have sold that car if he had let me see it. He also had cars on his web site that had long been sold. My two observations. Might be a great guy to do business with, I don't know. Bee Jay
I can't believe how everyone wants a 348 for under 40k. I think everyone should add 15-20k to all 348 asking prices to close the gap between the 348 & 355. It has to be the largest price gap in the line.
There really isnt a good 348 under $40k. You could find one for $38K and spend $6-8k on service and other things to bring it to brotherhood spec I believe an early 348 tb/ts with high miles and recent service is got to be $44K. The same car with low miles should be near $50K A later 348 tb/ts will be a $2-3K more. A Speciale should be in $55K-60K bracket with a challenge in the $58-65k range.
