A while ago I was looking around the internet and I came upon a website that featured a white Lamborghini Countach (I think) that was rusty, tattered and sitting in Texas (I think). I was wondering if anyone knows what I am talking, could post a link featuring this car, or knows any history about it.

The car belonged to Darrell Creswell aka "Miles Revell, self proclaimed rock star & music producer." He was a rich kid , son a preacher from Graham, TX that inherited oil money back in the mid 80's. He often drove the CT all over west Ft Worth showing it off at every bar, nightclub, shopping mall, etc. He was well known for throwing wild parties at his hotel room when he was in town. I remember even back in high school the car was already in poor condition, from what I understand he wrecked the car the day he bought it from the drive back from Dallas in 1987. There is a Fort Worth Star Telegram article about him & his Countach, one of the unique markings of that car is it's the only one I've ever seen with a front wing. I might have to go to library & dig though the microfiche. Darrell also owned a RHD black 308 GTS that was in worse condition than the CT & a 1986 Corvette convertible that was stolen from a hotel parking lot. The last time I saw I his Countach, it was broken down in a parking lot back in 1995 & sat for a couple days. I hope this info helps, I’ll try to find out more.

I remember that car! It was for sale on Ebay before.........I think it was in the late 90's. A friend showed it to me and he was bidding on it. I remember seeing those pictures. If I remember correctly, it was missing the engine/trans and there was a picture of the empty engine compartment which was a bit rusty. Poor car!!

No, that's not Miles/Darrell. I'll need to make a trip to the library this weekend & get a copy of the article.

I always wondered why they pulled the engine/tranny out of that car and left the chasis/shell in a barnyard to rot.

I too remember seeing this car on ebay some time ago...

Unfortunate to see a Countach like that.
Glad to hear someone is bringing it back to life.

I know that 79 car. It is known as the last S1 car built, with the 1st gen S/W Gauges. Beautiful original livery of blue exterior, with white leather seats and blue carpet.

It needs EVERYTHING. I posted detailed pics of the car years ago (on a different website).

Body (major panel work required at the rear), engine/transmission condition ?, carb work, clutch ?, electrical/gauge cluster is located on the floor of the cockpit with wires strewn about, the extremly rare Bravo magnesium wheels are no longer with the car, door hinges are rusted, new tires required, the missing parts, the unknown, stripping off all of the paint (not an easy task), and the interior needs to be completely restored.

I do not know if it is true, but the last I heard it was in CA, and may be turned into some type of street rod ?

It was priced around 25K, with the previous FL owner in Jacksonville.

Looks like the kit car builders have been robbing it for parts.
