I'll admit that I had and still have a Yukon SUV with 'dubs', its definitely a "mall cruiser and cafe" cruiser!

But since I live in Toronto, its great for the snow and off roading at the cottage, when I put the stock tires/wheels on for the winter.

If I had extra time and another truck, I'd put some 33"s on and do some mudding and off-roading too.

Nice, is that the 07 S? If so, how do you like it?

They look good. I doubt any of them "perform" any better with those wheels, and that was the argument.

IMO, the whole 24's on the Escalade fad is over, and now it just looks tacky.

How do you like the Kings Ranch version? Is it worth it? I was looking at one, the 250 :)

Unfortunately it's not the 07. My brother has the 07 and he absolutely loves it. I still tell him he could've bought a 355 with money left over considering he is usually the only one ever in it.

Whoops, I missed the argument then. And sure, I'm sure Wheel wise most of those don't perform any better. But alot of it in my mind is the tire you put on..

Are you OUT OF YOUR MIND?? It's a flippen SCION!!!!!!

I agree, the 24-26-28" inch monster wheels are tacky and old news....the style now is a prorportional size, beautifully detailed and perfect looking wheels to match the car/suv.

Throwing on some crazy and humongous wheels for shock value is tacky and "wannabe gangsta" style.

Agreed. Anything less than 28" is poseur.

But my view on this is that people don't need 30" wheels in the same way people don't need a 500hp mid-engine exotic car. People here buy a Ferrari because it's something they want; people put 28" wheels on their cars because that's what THEY want. You say when will people realize that 26 inch wheels are ridiculous? How soon will people realize that buying a 308/328 is ridiculous when you can get a faster, better handling, more reliable, safer, better gas mileage, and 36k mile warrantied car from a Ford dealer for a similar price?

Remember this thing called freedom? It allows you to drive the kind of car YOU want to drive, not what others think is the best to drive. If people don't like it, fine. But people shouldn't call others idiots, make stereotypes, or insult them because they have different preferences.

    Good post Chris

The only one I really like out of those is the F430. In general I like stock rims better.

Buuuuut if I ever get really rich and $75,000 is chump change, I'm definitely going to get an H2 or something and pimp it out, put huge rims on it, a wild paint job, ridiculous stero system, just because I think it would be hilarious (for the same reason I'd get an Isetta and a Segway too, lol!)

Whenever I pick my little sister up from high school I blast rap music even though I hate it, I just think it's hilarious to pretend to be a poser, especially when the real ones give you a nod or "what's up" look :D

Ok I am the first person to admit that I think my own rims look a little big on the car. However in my defense in 91 Mercedes made this car with 16inch wheels. Now they are 20 and They sell them from the factory with 18 and 19 inch wheels now. I would never put larger wheels on my Ferrari or other sports car. Oh and the 20 inch wheels net me better fuel economy because they are 3 peice aluminum and have less unsprung weight than the originals and dont even go into how the car handles. It will out corner alot of ferraris. Of course this wheels, tires, and suspension cost me 8,000 dollars. JJ

Here is a pic of my car post number 14.

Chris Have you ever driven a 328?? You dont buy that car for speed gas mileage etc. I have alot of cars and Have owned hundreds. The 328 is one of my favorites. each car has its good and bad. It all comes down to Personal Taiste and how big your check book is. There is no ford on the market that would be an extention of my Personality. That is esentially what a car is. JJ

Love it. I've had KR versions in 150s, 250s & 350s. Basically, other than an additional paint color option you're buying the KR leather package. I LOVE the KR leather, some don't. It DOES develop a patina. I liken it to a good saddle. I prefer my leather goods to develop a character of their own with age. I think it's a love/hate thing with the leather as lots seem to like it brand new and then complain as it ages a bit. It's far superior leather to anything I've had in other trucks/SUVs. If I could just buy the leather I'd have an upholstery shop reskin the seats in my other vehicles with it.

Its horsehide. Not exactly as exclusive as Corinthean leather. Im sure you can get some hides from the local rendering plant.

    That's a bad thing?

You're spot on! KR leather is made in Texas, which in my opinion is far superior to Newark.
