Hi guys I need some help locating some IXO models.I started collecting their Ferrari street cars as they were coming out,but I missed few.Actually I never saw them being available anywhere. The models I need are
    FER 02 - 288 GTO (Red)
    FER 03 - 575 M (Red)
    FER 04 - 360 Modena (Red)
I would be interested ONLY if they are in mint condition and in their mint box with ORIGINAL RED sleeve.I am not interested in any of the "plastic bubble" packaging or the models made for the italian market. They have produced a lot of them that I don't have and they are great looking models but that is a whole other can of worms I don't want to open.
Any help is more than welcome.I also am not interested in models that are located in countries that the cost with shipping will equal buying a BBR model here in the USA.
So if anyone has one of those and want to sell it, or know someone who does please PM me.
    Thank you all

I was checking some of the sites I frequent for a couple specific Audi P1's and a DTM and seached for the models in your post. I found two sites with them except for the 288 GTO which is shown as sold out at both locations. I've purchased many special Schumacher models from Warm-Up and have had them within the week of ordering (that's where I also got my Tameo Ferrari models). I was also on the ewa site and they didn't carry what you referenced.

    all are 1:43

www.warmup.it has the 575 for €29,17 and the 360 for €29,17 - extremely easy to order from these folks, they take PayPal

    www.trax-models.co.uk has the 575 and 360 for GBP 24.99

also try www.grandprixlegends.com in the UK (great folks to deal with too - I have always phoned in my orders)

    Michael,

I have the IXO 288GTO model I bought from FOA last year, you can have it for what I paid ($30) as I don't collect 1/43 anymore. Email if interested.

Anyone have a pic of the "original red sleeve"?

I ended up buying an IXO 288 GTO from Italy and it came in the plastic bubble (which I didn't know) and which I don't like.

What you bought was part of a whole collection made by ixo for the italian market. There are a lot of really cool ferraris in it,but if I start collecting anything out there I would never be able to keep up.

Let me add something I also need and have hard time locating.
Ferrari 2003 F1 GA in 1:43 scale by Hotwheels.
Please if anyone has one and is willing to part with it (for less than my left arm) please let me know.
I am also still looking for the aforementioned IXO 575M and 360Modena both in red.Fortunate for me Stephan from Scaledetails had the 288GTO and was kind enough to sale it to me.
So, whoever can help me find these models,ON US SOIL,please let me know.
    Best regards
    Michael

So just to clarify (sorry for the dumb question) the IXO 288 GTO I bought from Italy that came in the awful plastic bubble was only for the Italian market....however there is another IXO 288 GTO with a proper clear case?

The cars on the middle shelf in the red boxes are the IXO "FER" series. IXO also does the blue and black boxes on the LeMans Ferraris. Bottom shelf has blue and silver Maserati IXO boxes.

Thanks for the clarification Mule. So FER series has a proper acrylic case within that red box it seems.

If anyone has one for sale (hopefully in North America), please let me know. Thanks.

Good luck in finding them "on US SOIL". I have purchased from the place in Italy that has what you are looking for many times (non-US SOIL) and believe me the packing is better than most shipping I've gotten from US SOIL and the cost is not much more for shipping and I've had expensive models within a weeks time from them. Sorry that my references were not of usable value in your search for your specific model list.

My mate may have some IXO spare models as he got some delivered incorrectly, I'll ask him which ones they are and how much he wants. Im from U.K. so not sure how much postage to U.S. would be, maybe £2-3 GBP?

Thanks - I've had good luck with shipping from Italy (quick and reasonably priced), but the couple of times I've inquired about shipping from the UK, France or Germany to Canada, the rates were incredibly high. Maybe things have changed in the last year or so.

On that note, Someone in canada on e-bay tried to tell me that the model he is selling me (none of the above mentioned) for $17 is going to cost $21 to ship!!!
I don't think I will be bidding on it.

Thanks Mule...guy won't ship to Canada though.

I'm all for paying fair shipping charges, but there are so many eBayers who have a huge scam going when it comes to shipping. Once, due to my carelessness in reading the fine print, I paid $80 shipping for models that cost the seller $12.50 to ship to me. $67.50 "handling" seems a bit excessive no? :)

Ok here is another one I desperately need.
Hotwheels 1:18 Schumacher 6 times world champion edition. It is all chrome on a red leather plinth.
When it originally came out (actually before that) I ordered it from Exoticar.Paid it in full in advance and then received something else. They offered for the inconvenience to give me a great deal on the one with the piece of racing suit and the clear base which "just came in and we did not even advertise it yet",so at the time seemed like a good deal so I took it with them promising to get me the car I originally wanted when it came in.Well I got my deal but never got the car I really wanted because "oops, we are already out of stock!" and so was everyone else. And also, so was the last time I ordered anything from Exoticar ever again.
So please, very very please, with cream and sugar on top, if someone can help me out.
I need it with the original boxes and $200 max(zipping up my flamesuit). I know that asking for it at that price (it is still 50% more than what it sold for new)is like asking for brand new 599 Fiorano for $150K,but hey- maybe there is someone out there who would like to help a fellow collector and enthusiast. I may also have something to trade with-you never know.
    Best to all
    Michael

Yes and No.At firs glance it is the model I am looking for, but I don't know what's up with the chromed standing figure. I have never seen that.Originally the model came with the red plinth (I am not sure about the scuderia shield on it either) the chromed car just like on your picture and a REGULAR COLORS Schumacher sitting on the cars sidepod with his hands in the air but with no helmet.
I have no idea where did you get your model from but I have never seen one like it.
Also this model(yours) states that it is 2005 and judging by the front spoiler it is.MS did not win the championship in 2005 and the model I am talking about is to commemorate his 6th title which would make it 2003.
Here is something else I just noticed. On your model there is also a driver figure in the car and a figure on the plinth.WEIRD!

after having bought some of these IXOs myself, I'm beginning to wonder if these are the same as the Hot Wheels 1/43 cars from a few years back. Has anyone done a comparison?

Yes, they are different. More detail, and certainly more variety. Maybe IXO got ahold of the old moulds, but the cars are certainly better, and HW only had about 2 dozen (with many repeat models in different colors). In the picture I posted above, those are the HWs behind the Maseratis on the bottom shelf. Kyosho has some 1/43s also, and they are different, too, though they have a closer relationship with HW.
