I've never been able to resolve what color my Miura will be... not an immediate concern, but some day. Of my personal favourites are: Verde Chiaro - 5064 Blu Notte - 4870, 4926 Black - 5038 Fly Yellow Oh yeah, then there's the Tahiti Blue, French Racing Blue (George Dyer's car)... How is a man to choose but one?!? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A set of these are a must for highway use of your Miura.....the sight of twelve of them mounted atop four triple-choke 40IDL Weber carburettors has been known to make grown men shed a tear... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Just ordered a set from Bobileff. Forgot to ask the price, they look expensive. Can you drive a miura without the air boxes??
They ARE expensive as beautifully hand-crafted items usually are...... and you know what they say: "If you have to ask the price....." Yes you can drive Miura without airboxes and our Miuras wish we would! For me, I can actually feel the difference in throttle response, it looks magnificent without the 'boxes, and I dont have a 'pizza-oven' chamber fueled by air-filter combustion for a migrating fire! I will bear that in mind next time I go off-roading in my freshly-restored Miura SV Heck, I only take it out on particularly crisp Southern California sunny days, and that after consulting various weather sites to ensure that I do not encounter sudden gusts of wind en route. LOL. I will say this, cruising along at sea-level (perhaps on Pacific Coast Highway) as I try to, those Weber carburettors work as well as they possibly can. Awesome! Joe
Jeff Stephan's perfect Miura SV is awesome in its 'Prugna Loco Metallizzato' :-0 Image Unavailable, Please Login
This movie did wonders for the Miura's image. Joe Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
What is the chassis no of this Swiss SV (picture taken at factory 2003). 5074? 5080? .... philippe Image Unavailable, Please Login
That is 5080 and three years later she is in Southern California and looks like this after Bobileff's refurbishment. FAB. Thank you Joe. 5080 do looks fabulous with the gold wheels and sills, more distinctive than silver (for the white color) in my opinion. There was a white SV with white wheels (5060), another one with black wheels (Japan) not so good... It's amazing how these cars change hands so frequently. Joe, These photos are the last two I took at the factory in 2003 and that I did not identified the chassis numbers so far. Any hint? philippe Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
