Let's See All Our Mondials!

I had to post this again, as it's been a few pages back since I picked up Rachel from Eugenio's. I must tell you this----------the sound of a 348 plant, equipped with Hyper-flows and X-OST, is simply amazing. How's this; it's quiet when you back off. It doesn't DRONE - - - EVER!!!!---------But she will sing at the drop of your right foot. AMAZING------- thanks Daniel @ RICAMBI.

Here is the latest acquisition, a 1985 QV with 25K miles, I just put new rims on it, I love it, what a great car, and I will most likely make it my daily driver (except when it rains of course).

Looking at these pictures I wonder how people ever can say a Mondial isn't beautifull.

Thanks a lot guys, it feels great to see it is appreciated, I have always been a Mondial lover, and this proves it. I went with Kumho's, they were on sale at Tire Rack, 215' 45s fronts, and 235' 40's rears if I remember correctly.

( Man............I would like a mondial )

 

The weather in Phoenix was quite nice on Sunday so I decided to go for a spin.
After messing about with some mechanical problems for the last few weekends I figured we both deserved a good spirited drive...and good it was. Here are a few pics from a park area that I pulled into.

hey copter jon what brand and size rims are those?

 

Nathan, The rims are from a company in Florida called Highline Wheels. They are 18" with 224/40/18 tires up front and 265/35/18 tires in the rear. They bolt right up without any spacers. However, different lug bolts must be used. I think style is called G-Force. These are not true 3 piece but rather a one piece wheel designed to look modular. This was ok for me since they were pretty inexpensive. Carlos Yanez is who helped me there and can be reached at 1-866-409-1600.

First time I hear about a Mondial Michelotto.
What's the story behind?

 

This Mondial was bought by a man in Mexico around 1985 from FOH, he requested to have the car modified for more power. Mr. Risi arranged for this car to be taken to Michelotto where they installed a turbocharger, it produces around 400hp. This car now resides in an auto museum in Mexico.

 

If i can now where is the auto museum?
