Just curious to see if anyone here is planning on heading down to the race ... I'll be heading down, and cheering on the Corvette Racing Teams ... should be a blast!

Looks like its coming close...gotta tellyou for 650hp, this thing is looking almost perfect in my book. The interior still abit of a slop, but hopefully they will fix it abit better. The guy below that posted the pics, maybe doing some jail time.
I would think this next car should be on the top of the exotic world soon.

It's still a corvette

 

This car is legitimate, confirmed by a buddy of mine this weekend who happens to work at the GM Tech Center in Pontiac.

 

Yeah, buts its faster, and cheaper than a Porche and a WHOLE lotta other cars !

 

Only if I'm driving and it doesn't look like that will be happening at this year's event.

"We've just learned that EMO TRANS, the shipping company that was hired by General Motors to transport a Corvette SS mule to Germany for testing on the Nurburgring, has fired the employee who took pictures of the vehicle and posted them on the internet. In addition, the unnamed employee has been taken to jail, though we don't know what charges have been filed against him. For our part, we've removed the pics from Autoblog for fear of GM's wrath. The automaker has been reportedly approaching various sites all day requesting the images be removed, so rather than waiting for the phone to ring we've gone ahead and taken them down. UPDATE: Josh over at The GM Source is reporting that the SShutterbug in question has not been placed under arrest, nor is he in police custody. GM has filed a civil complaint with the Romulus PD, and the matter remains under investigation. Whether or not the individual in question will be charged with a crime depends on the outcome of said investigation. Stay tuned."

Say Rick, I see the latest edition of the 'plastic fantastic' still catches your eye. You won't be able to sneak up on anybody with that supercharger though. Maybe if you get one painted black you can go stealth... Better start cultivating a 'relationship' with your favourite Chevy store so you can get on the list! Canada will be lucky to see 25 of those guided missiles.

Halifax is a great town to visit for a couple days in the summer.

Best restaurant in town is Fiasco on Dresden Row.

There are tons of pubs/bars right downtown that are busy/lots of fun in the summer.

 

It had character. Like all of the cars of its day. Interiors today all look the same. Boring.

This wouldnt be hard to do. I was at a GM dealership a month or so back talking about those 399 special Ron Fellows cars in white with his signature. About 35 are coming to Canada. I could have gotten one if i wanted. Just cant seem to pull the trigger on these vetts yet, the next one keeps getting better and better within the next year. Im thinking they will hit 750HP for next year at this rate they introduce a new model.

 

You won’t find friendlier people in North American than Canadian Maritimers. Although I haven’t been in years, I’ve had many good times in Halifax.

Ok . . . maybe Newfoundlanders are a bit friendlier . . .

Its been in the works for a while. I love Vettes...but Id love for them to keep it N/A. Adding the Supercharger doesnt make it very pure...but heck, Id still buy one!
