Met friend of mine this a.m who is getting the new Coupe, delivery is due in late Sept but between us we were trying to figure out what spec might suit this car best, sure at this stage its a bit of lottery but assuming the same colour combos will be avalible what would look best on this new shape.

However for some reason the first coupes due in SA will all be automatics, personally if it were my car I would hold on for the Cambiocorsa judging by what I have read about the new Auto box in the QP...

Back to specs, what I thought might look good is dark blue, with tan interior and maybe blue carpets, bit unusual but looks good on the current coupe.

Has anyone here seen any daringly differant old coupes, the usual it silver and black but both of us agree thats not the ideal colour for the new coupe. BY differant I dont mean yellow leather either.....

Burgandy leather is also nice but with blue exterior might not be so nice.

    Any opinions ideas?

Definitely a TDF-style blue with tan interior. Definitely needs to be the lighter tan, not the brownish-burnt tan color. Carpet should be blue or tan. Lower door panels either tan or blue. All of the dash tan, and the steering wheel black.

Another color I think will look good is the Bianco Fuji ("sperm white"). Perhaps a grey and blue contrasting interior might look good. Or, just a regular black interior. Even a red interior might look good with it.

Like both suggestions the 2nd one is particularly daring but could look stunning, will definately pass that one on...

No the wood is all the same. The pics just look weird because of the flash on the camera.

Actually I looked at it again and I think the woods are different, I never noticed that before, but it still looks great. :)

Chase, that is quite a stunning QP! Seems like all too often QP owners are too conservative and get either black or silver with tan or black interior.

When the time comes for me to get a Coupe or Spyder, I would either get the bianco fuji or the blu medio (I think that's the color). You definitely solidified my thoughts on the deep blue and tan interior combo!

    Thanks!

    Int Black carpet
    Black and Red dash

I will go for a "blu Nettuno" with Camel interior, not "Avorio", blue carpeting...
Second choice will be "Grigio Touring" with "Rosso Corallo".
Just like my 03 Alfa 147!!
But I think that the "Red Maserati" with black or Camel interior would be my first choice, if it was available this combination.
    Like my 91 Shamal!

Maserati had problems which this in the first year and a half with build of the QP. If you look carefully at the woods on the wheel and e brake lever they will most likely be unmatched different.
