Not really cheap, but nice! It states in the ad that the interior is tan? What is the name of this color interior? http://www.mgmsl.com/nlisting.cfm?ID=a296c011%2Dbddf%2D464c%2Dbf95%2Dfc7f024931f1 Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It could also really be tan with an overexposed camera setting or some fluke with the camera. If you look at the picture from the front of the car you can see the headrests look tan. Also on the interior shots the farthest tan leather from the camera looks close to the tan. BT
Looked at it but it seemed to be a pig with lipstick. I may have found one. I'll know thursday morning.. if all goes right I'll have an 1100 mile trip home in it to get to know her better
It's not a '94 or at least the front grill is not '94. Should have black lip around grill in '94. I think even '93 and up.
I Don't know. They have it listed as a 94 Challenge car. The rear is badged 348 Challenge on the left side of the car not the right. Is that the way it should be?
Where is it listed at. What's the vin #. The only pic is the one you have posted. The challenge badges were available with the challenge kits. They were placed on the right rear. Mine is a '94 and has one, but I have seen '94 challenges that were not raced without. Conceivable to buy one and put it on. If it's on the left it's not original. I only see the front grill. It might be a '94, but the front grill has been changed. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I believe you. According to the s/n 98452 it's #5 of 32 '94 CH tb. Original yellow with black. Raced by Miller Motors as #70 in the 348 challenge. Looks a bit rough hence the price. The grill and or the front bumper may have been replaced. Someone put the 348 challenge badge on the wrong side!
And when you thought this thread was dead....NO WAY! 1992 348 45k miles. clean title, $39k I know it's not red, but $39k? Someone call up this cat and tell him to bump up the ante a bit! The car is in PA car looks good! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Let's all bump up the prices? What ya think? Add $10K ? There are only a handful for sale at any given time (especially coupes). It should be pretty easy to do Let's bump up the prices like the boys in the TR room are doin CMON PAP! YOU WITH ME
Recently bought a '90 348tb, black w/ tan. Just spent 10k at Ferrari in SoCal to bring the car mechanically to where it should be, then had the entire car painted. Also added a sound system along with other odds and ends. To me, the car is as beautiful as anything on the road, and gives me the same thrill either looking at it, or driving it, as I would probably get driving any other exotic. Just plain thrilled to have it! Still plan to do an exhaust and different wheels and a little interior work- but I'll basically have a new/ old exotic that you may see me driving up and down PCH on any beautiful SoCal weekend. If you see me, honk!
Exactly! What else can you drive that is so nice @ <$50K? I just don't get why I am having such a hard time getting $45K for mine. I did the same thing and bought at $45K and put another $15K in it to make it proper. The car is in absolute perfect shape and condition. Added F355 18" wheels and carbon trim for the interior, and countless little tidbits from Ricambi... Don't ask me how much I have in it, I probably don't want to know...
I think mileage comes into play........Most buyers have been brainwashed into thinking that all used Ferrari's should be low mileage. IMHO
Yes, I agree that the mileage is a concern. However, if I were to choose between a 348 on the market and a 348 that was built to our forum popular specs, , I would choose the on that has been built on this forum. All of our members know each other, we all work together to have the Ferrari that the factory intended. 65,000 miles is considered high in the F_Car market but not to our members that know the car, the owner, and the level of pampering we give them. This forum has been huge in my Ferrari learning curve. Cars that come from our members seem to be a cut above... I just wish I could convince the buyer market of that...
