FCA "Parts Picnic" at T. Rutlands Saturday April 28, 9am to 2pm

    Fun Concours
A very outrageous yellow Enzo is scheduled to be the centerpiece of our lawn display and a Cavallino Classic prize winning 250 SWB may be setting up beside it, so we decided, what the heck, let’s just have a Concours. It will
be a low pressure affair with People’s Choice judging. It won’t cost you a cent and T. Rutlands may even spring for a couple awards. Pre-registration is encouraged. Contact Frank Parker at 770 317 8836, or via email at [email protected]. Lawn placement will be from 9:00 to 10:45

    Swap Meet
Buy and sell Ferrari parts, memorabilia, literature, and artwork. Nowhere else in the Southeast will you find such a diverse selection of pre-owned Ferrari merchandise. Expect books, model, magazines, patches and whatnot. Tables are free but space is limited. Last year we ran out of room so we suggest reserving early. Contact Steve at 770 493 8852 or [email protected] The Swap Meet will run 9:00 to 2:00

Yes Virginia there is a Free Lunch
Chef Ted will once again be cooking the food and footing the bill. They’ll be morning bagels and such with hamburgers and chicken for lunch so come hungry.

Thanks to Ted for opening up T. Rutlands once again for what has become an annual FCA event.
    T. Rutlands is in Tucker, Georgia on the east side of Atlanta
Google 770 493-8852 and select Maps for directions or
    call T. Rutlands at 770 493-8852
Event details can be found at www.TRutlands.com or www.fca-se.com

While this is always a fun event, did it have to be scheduled on the same weekend as The Mitty at Road Atlanta and the NHRA Nationals at the Atlanta Dragway?? (Yes, some of us are interested in drag racing.)

I wish they didn't schedule it the same weekend as the Mitty. I'll be at both either way. My hotel is already booked from Thurs evening thru Sun.

Hey, do you want to sell me your steering wheel ring-nut socket? I'll save you putting it up on a table. :) Or if not, please check with Brian and company when you get there to see if they have one for about the same price you got yours, and pick one up for me.

I'll be using yours tomorrow (thanks for the loan!) and presuming we get the issue fixed right away, I'll have it back in the mail to you right away.

Two of the best events of the year, Rutlands and The Mitty, and they have to be on the same weekend. Don't they keep up with this stuff at Rutlands??!!

This sounds great - I'm going to see how cheaply I can get to Atlanta. Maybe I can stay at the Cheetah 3 like I did in college....

weather permitting a group of us, minimum 4 cars, including an F40 LM (the famous one built from a burnt F40) and an F40 are trying to make it from South and North Carolina. However, we wont make it before 11 a.m. Too many arrangements to meet here and there and get everyone going. Let's hope we have nice weather on saturday.

Unless you want to reserve a table to sell stuff or enter the concours, then all you do is show up. If you want to pre-register for table or concours, see the details at www.trutlands.com/Picnic2007.htm

I hope everyone has a great time at the FCA/Rutlands outing....
(Thanks goes out to John for my LM Tubi)
Wish I could make it, but we're heading to Clark's Hill to try out the new Speedster 200 today.

I sure would like to set up a Ferrari gathering in Augusta/Evans GA.

    Any interest?

    Joe
