Rutlands Saturday April 28, 9am to 2pm Fun Concours A very outrageous yellow Enzo is scheduled to be the centerpiece of our lawn display and a Cavallino Classic prize winning 250 SWB may be setting up beside it, so we decided, what the heck, lets just have a Concours. It will be a low pressure affair with Peoples Choice judging. It wont cost you a cent and T. Rutlands may even spring for a couple awards. Pre-registration is encouraged. Last year we ran out of room so we suggest reserving early. While this is always a fun event, did it have to be scheduled on the same weekend as The Mitty at Road Atlanta and the NHRA Nationals at the Atlanta Dragway?? (Yes, some of us are interested in drag racing.)
I wish they didn't schedule it the same weekend as the Mitty. I'll be at both either way. My hotel is already booked from Thurs evening thru Sun.
Hey, do you want to sell me your steering wheel ring-nut socket? I'll save you putting it up on a table. Or if not, please check with Brian and company when you get there to see if they have one for about the same price you got yours, and pick one up for me. I'll be using yours tomorrow (thanks for the loan!) and presuming we get the issue fixed right away, I'll have it back in the mail to you right away. Mike
Do I have to go!? I'm just kidding. This will be a great event and alot of time gets put into planning and such to make it fun. I will be there behind a table I'm sure full of FCA stuff and other goodies...
Two of the best events of the year, Rutlands and The Mitty, and they have to be on the same weekend. Don't they keep up with this stuff at Rutlands??!!
Wow, this is going to turn out to be a Boxer reunion. So far I know of 3 Boxers which have preregistered so far...with mine that makes 4.
This sounds great - I'm going to see how cheaply I can get to Atlanta. Maybe I can stay at the Cheetah 3 like I did in college....
If any one has a used up front and rear brake rotor for a Mondial/308. Please bring it to the swap meet. I need them for a project. I have a RED Toyota Pick up truck. my cell number is 904-536-6931 Thanks Charles
weather permitting a group of us, minimum 4 cars, including an F40 LM (the famous one built from a burnt F40) and an F40 are trying to make it from South and North Carolina. However, we wont make it before 11 a.m. Too many arrangements to meet here and there and get everyone going. Let's hope we have nice weather on saturday.
Unless you want to reserve a table to sell stuff or enter the concours, then all you do is show up. If you want to pre-register for table or concours, see the details at www.trutlands.com/Picnic2007.htm
I hope to be able to go to this event. I will be at the Mitty too but am hoping to attend this event too. Brian
Two from Tallahassee coming, myself and sweetspotav...although we are bringing the BMW. Ferrari is on the lift.
Greg, We can't wait to see yall it is going to be a great event. Alot of time from many people has gone into it.
I hope everyone has a great time at the FCA/Rutlands outing.... (Thanks goes out to John for my LM Tubi) Wish I could make it, but we're heading to Clark's Hill to try out the new Speedster 200 today. I sure would like to set up a Ferrari gathering in Augusta/Evans GA. Any interest? Joe
