Trippy cool, not sure I would make a set of Ferrari wheels into a coffee table, but to each his own.

When I go with 16"ers, I'm going to turn the 390s into end tables.

The only coffee allowed to be drunk at it is espresso., not the diluted 7 eleven variety.

    Yep. It's my neighbor.

They're from a white GTS that got cooked in a garage a little over a year ago. The result of an electrical fire from a stereo. In the house, not the car. Took out the house and the garage. The lot has been vacant for about 8 or 9 months.

Right before they cleared the lot, I saw the nose of the GTS sitting on a trash heap. The severly burnt nose was pointed stright up in the air. I ran home for the camera, but was out of film. Next day, it was all gone. So I never got the picture. It looked pretty cool though, like some macabre sort of sculpture, and I really wanted to post it here on F-Chat.

This is the same guy that sold an engine, gearbox and various other parts from a GTS in Studio City, on eBay about a year ago too.

    Wish I'd bought the gearbox....

A friend of mine bought a 328 motor (blown) that had a glass top put on it, so it became a table.

I would've used pistons instead of those O tubes attached to the sides of the rims.

Not a bad idea. I've seen better. But that's not so bad.

+1. Is that the worst paint job you've ever seen.

Didn't like the tubes either, & yes, the paint sucks, but the general concept has promise. Better than throwing the '390s into a dumpster...
