    thanks newman eurospares had them but at 190.00POUNDS isn't that kind of steep......... again thanks for the lead....and if you know anyone that would sell them used that would be kool.......MO

    Not too many people are going to have spline drives kicking around, except for the guy that put the wires on your boxer :).

    Keep looking on ebay I guess or pay up.

    Concerning the spline-adaptors....can't you remove them from the spoked wheels and bolt them back onto the original wheels? Those spoked wheels can't just "bolt up" without the adaptors can they? As for the price quoted...yes...these things are expensive, and I doubt you'll find them much cheaper unfortunately.

    iam assuming that the rims for the wire wheels arnt' going to be similar...and therefore spline bolts won't line up......iam no gear head but i'll see if thats possible........mo

    You could call Lyle and see if these would work. But still $400 each.

    If you don't like the costs just drive with the wire wheels on there. It's still a freakin Boxer.

    On the other hand when you own a classic 12 cyl Ferrari when it needs parts you just start peeling away the $100 bills until they say stop. $1000 really doesn't go far as you'll soon learn.
