That looks too good to be a replica.

I've seen a couple of these advertised as replicas in Europe, aluminum bodies, etc. pretty nice but pricey replicas in the 125-175K range

    Yeah, what he said.

If it is real what does that thing do for 0-60, like 6 seconds, top speed at around 150?

It looks like it has more cylinders than a Dino and I don't know of a TR that looks like that.

Try posting in the Vintage section. They could tell you what it is.

I hate replicas but if this is one I don't care. That thing looks awesome.

Would a replica firm make a right-wheel-drive version if they wanted U.S. sales?

Just did a quick search on the net for a 1958-1959 Ferrari Testa Rossa and found a company in Australia that makes a reproduction TR250.
    Finch restorations.

Looks pretty damm nice, no price listed. I'm sure there are other companies in the U.K. that do the same?

The Vintage Forum guys need to take a look at this.

This may fall into the "TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE" category.

Looks like a car from the Morgan Adams that was in Boca last week. I think I remember it being labeled 59 250 TR. I did not get a picture of it.

It's a 250 TR 59/60. Most of the replicas were built using GTE chassis and are left hand drive. The odd thing a car like this is worth in the neighborhood of $10M for a real car, why would you park it in a parking garage? Probably a replica.

There's also the chance that it's one of the aluminum-bodied replicas we made at Norwood's in Dallas, in the mid 80's. They were fully Ferrari-based, using donor frames and drivetrains, one even having a transaxle instead of the original-type transmission>driveshaft>differential. They were/are gorgeous.

Insure it and drive it. They live on the road. Museums are like coffins.

photo isn't tha good, but it is obviously a fantuzzi body. what is the morgan adams show?

rhd does not equal authentic. most originals were rhd, so it follows that rhd would be the replica of choice.

No question it is an early TR. If it was UK or Australia and a replica, it would still be right hand drive. TRs were racers and were right hand drive anyway. Regardless, it is pretty. Incidently, I am so old, I remember seeing them race at the old Marlboro Raceway in Maryland.

Even if it were not a real TR, I would love to have. Imagine tooling around in that beauty.

Morgan Adams is a charity for kids with cancer. They had a concours last week in Boca Raton at the airport and I thought I remembered seeing that car as part of the display. The window info said 1959 250 TR IIRC.

Definitely a replica, although this is a very good one.
Is this perhaps the rebodied 330 GT s/n 7099?
