Why don't we rent raceway park for a day. We did many years ago and it was a blast. BTW it would be a weekday, cause they are open sat & sun during day hrs. I've got six people already.
(430, 360, porsche gt, porsche gt3, ford gt, all stock).

Formula... what was the guys name with the black e39 M5 from Jersey??? His cousin is putting together an all day event at Englishtown. BMW, Audi, Porsche. I'm sure they won't mind Vettes, Ferrari's and Lambo's coming.

Funny! I'm in for any event. Being married and having a newborn I need any excuse to get out the house. The reason I like the 1/4 mile is because I can tell if the modds have made a diff in the performance. I also loved the way my car drove on that Sunoco 100 gas. Your right formula about not hitting high speeds, but when your there its a fun time. You get to see cars smoking it up and dragging down the strip. I thought it would be boring until I went for the first time last summer.

The trap speeds in the 1/4 is a good indicator of the power your car is making.

We can definately go to Etown one day, I would have no problems with that. However, I really am not a good dragracer It all comes down to the launch, and launching a manual Z is very hard. Too much power and you're up in smoke, and not enough and you bog. In either case Avery by my calculations you had ~500lbs of passengers in the car with you (counting cameras etc) and you were keeping up with me. So I'm sure if you had nobody in your car it would a totally different ball game. For a 4k+ lbs car it is FAST!

^^ Me neither. Even though I have been going to Englishtown since I was a little kid, I have never been down the strip and I haven't launched the SMG drag style. I gotta work on that.
