It will be interesting to see the different age and experience groups we have on Ferrari Chat.
I'm 15. I don't really expect to have a Ferrari now, or anytime soon in the future. But someday, I'll have one. Feel free to quote me. A real, V12, front engined Ferrari. Peter Hatch Edit: NON RED. That part is important.
I'll become 30 soon... and unfortanetely still no Ferrari... If everything goes according to plan it should happen in the next decade! Alexander
Alex, a decade is along time man. Go and enjoy yourself. In a decade you may have 10 kids and 3 mortgages
No, but he always reads stuff on 360/F430, Supercars, 599/612 forum! He is more of a reader than a poster. I always tell him to make an account, he keeps saying he'll just use mine.
Got my first when I was 50 wish I could have afforded it at 31-40 I did have several Vettes and an XKE Martin
I'd expect the 10-20 bracket to be a tad light on owners... I know I'd never buy one for my niece before she turned 16 or so. It might complicate the poll impossibly, but it would be interesting to know what models are owned in each age range. I.e., young Peter here has said he wants a big GT car (in non-red -- good call!), whereas I would have expected a 20-something or 30-something to want a hardcore sports car, probably a 360/430 or whatever comes after the 430. I would have expected the GTs (400/412, 456, 550/575/599, 612) to appeal more to F'Chat-ers of an extremely advanced age like BT. (Well OK, and I'm even older than he is...) Got mine when I was 39. Probably the right timing, as the 328 was as cheap as it will ever be, and I can afford whatever repair bills come along without reverting to domestic beer.
20 and in school...no ownership yet. Planning on some line of work/enterprenuership that will allow me one as soon as possible...without an insane amount of debt.
