Seeing all these red cars is causing me to re-think my color choice.

The Friday afternoon right before the F-1 race in Indy, mostly Ferrari's gather on Monument Circle for the race fans to see and appreciate.

I bought it brand new from Lake Forest Sportscars. So it came with 120 delivery miles on it. Put another 100 on it between this morning and tonight. Gotta get to 620 as soon as possible! (break-in period).

I didn't option the car myself. It came with red stitching/piping, parking sensors, bluetooth, hifi, 6-disc changer, and ball-polished wheels. I had the later exchanged for the regular rims. Not a fan of the ball-polished look.

I originally started looking at a Ferrari back in October/November, but instead of the F430 I was looking at, I ended up buying a yellow Lamborghini Gallardo '06 Coupe. I love that machine. It's absolutely phenomenal.

But I definitely wanted to try the Ferrari experience as well, so I started looking at Ferraris again in January. I had actually decided that I wasn't going to look at the 430, since I wanted a spider and the market prices were a tad too stiff. So I found lapeter's 360 and actually flew out to Salt Lake to have a look.

Just at that time, LSFC offered me the car I ended up buying at a price I was willing to pay. So in late January, I pre-traded my Boxster S and now the replacement is finally here ;).

Here's the Lambo I got in November:

    Congrats!
Perfect timing to get a car like that for Chicago Spring/Summer.
Any chance to share that info tidbit that probably burns a lot of us here: what was the premium?

you know you make the right decision on a car if you live in Chicago and, in early March, you pick up your car in 60 degree weather...god on your side!!

    Good luck,

    Joe

Many many congrats on your awsome Red/Yellow garage tennants!! The opposite of my stable. Is your Gallardo the Pearl Yellow and if so would be my choice over the Ferrari yellow. Desperately needing pics of the two together!

racerdj, the Gallardo is indeed Giallo Midas. The Perl yellow. My favorite color by far on that model.

carla, I'll be sure to sign up for the Lambo club right away. Thanks for the pointer. Looking forward to the first event.

And thanks for the kind comments, everyone. I'll try to get some pictures of both of them together at some point in the not too distant future.

BTW, just 200 miles to go on the break-in!! Should mean redline over the weekend ;)

    Webster,

Its good to see you happy with your car so far. We thank you again for your business.

I was jealous as you took your jacket off and got in the driver seat the other day. Though Jason let me enjoy the new RS4!

If you need anything give me a call at work.

And check your mail, I believe Cassie sent you something.

Nice to see a dealer who can 'deliver' and make the customer happy. Others are not; in such a happy place... Good luck with your new Ferrari!
