Well, 4 months into my ownership and I have to send my car in for the big one. Clutch is slipping very badly and timing belt has been there since 99. For 100K I expected my dealer to do a little more to help me. but i guess not. I will drop it off at the shop maybe next week. This really sucks. But hey, if you cant afford the maintenance, Then don't buy a 355. I just never expected 4 months later to be dropping 12K. Turn around time for this is 2 months. Japan needs a real Ferrari dealer here.... I should open Ferrari of Japan lol

get outta here, 2 months? Wow that sucks, prime driving season is upon us. It's up to you...but same situation here. Need a clutch and major was 3 yrs ago...but going for just a clutch for now. There's really no labor savings doing both together, so you could just do the clutch now, wait a few months, then do the major. But you are over the magic 3 yrs so it depends on how you feel your odds are...

I was thinking about that but 6 years and the last owner lived close to the ocean. i am a little worried. I am surprised it lasted this long.

yikes, I misread. Yes, unfortunately the previous owner squeezed it for all it was worth. Do 'em both I guess!

And relatively speaking, you guys are all pretty damn close to the ocean :) :) :)

This time a year I suspect any of the good shops have at least a month backlog, if not 6 weeks. 2 months ain't bad in March.
