My bad. In defense, it was kinda early for lunch.
Was on my way to PepBoys & then Ikea to check out a glass cabinet to display some Lambos. It was suggested in the models FChat section. Turns out I didn't like it. I don't have a 1/18th Roadster anyway, yet .

12 Noon walking toward the St. Pattys parade in Morristown there was a 996 Porsche Turbo in Silver. After the parade and a few drinks later in the evening there was a 997 Porsche Turbo in Black. Then on my way out of Morristown on Rt. 202/Speedwell Ave there was a Black Ferrari 360 Spyder!

 

White Bently CGT rode with me up the palisades for a bunch of miles
and a yellow 430 at exit 4 on the palisades South about 3:30pm

 

Dark Grey Aston Martin V8 Vantage somewhere in NYC... Yeah, I'm that specific on locations.

 

Yesterday while at the handwash on the west side met a Ford GT owner.

He may join us on the upcoming runs.

Today was great. The cars are starting to come out

-silver Rolls Royce Phantom in NYC
-quite a few Bentley's in NYC and CT
-3-4 Audi S6's
-red Ferrari 328 GTS
-yellow 360 Modena with challenge grill
-red Lotus Elise
-red/white Shelby GT500 convertable
-last but definitely not least....yellow Lamborghini Gallardo in Connecticut. Who ever was driving you made the 2 hour drive home soo much better

So today was a good day for local spotting and some good ones while walking through times square at around 10:30pm.

At 12:30pm in scarsdale and about 50 houses from mine I saw a Ferrari Superamerica in red and 5 minutes later I caught a SL65 getting some air in the tires at the mobil gas station in Hartsdale.

Later this evening in times square I hear all this rap music blasting as see three dudes, one driving a yellow murc with blacked out taillights, yellow 360 spider, and a two tone silver and black Phantom with North Carolina plates. Was pretty strange

 

Anyone famous?

The GT looked great and sounded even better.

My Elise wears Toybox Hethel forged wheels (16x7 f, 17x8 r) weighing a measly 12 lbs in front and under 14 in the rear. They are forged on the same press that champion uses. Black center with natural lip. Larger offset in the rear.

i was heading east to my apartment. If it was your red elise, it looks beautiful! It absolutely stands out in a great way and looks very sharp!

 

I do not think it was me as I did not take the car out yesterday unless my new garage attendants were going for a joy ride ala Ferris Bueller's Day Off (I hope not!).

You may have seen my car though as I do drive it frequently as I commute with it to LI. I do not know of any other Red Elises in Manhattan although it could have been from Manhattan Motorcars. It is a great drivers car, thanks for the acknowledgement.

I'm almost insulted. You didn't see me driving the old man's maserati around town on saturday? Anyway I saw a new M5 in Scarsdale village that drove around looking for a parking space, a porsche cayman, and a 997 (can't quite remember but it wasn't a regular one, maybe a 4?). Today I saw a blue Quattroporte driving near my house. Oh, and a few weeks ago I saw a last gen gt3 grey/black about 3 blocks from my house with a very cool yellow stripe and the letters "GT3" painted on in yellow. Parked at the same house was an rs6 wagon, an m3, and a green lotus elise with racing decals on it.

Past sat/sun was a good spotting for me, all on I80.

-Black Continental GT in Jersey sat noonish.
-10 minutes later a black Arnage.
-Sunday silver AM DB7 15 miles before GWB.
-I'm waiting at the tolls right before the GWB and a big trailer carrying white covered Audis drives by in opposite direction. Could have been an R8 on there .
-LIE 330 eastbound black Viper with yellow stripes. Couldn't catch up.

 

there was a new orange z06 in the village last night...are they all that loud?? WOW!!

also do all z06's have 2 large tail pipes instead of 4??
