John's my MAN! I'll be there, and so will my car (although still in pieces.) The new space is really great, and who knows what you will see........ or HEAR:>) Come one come all, it's a Ferrari feast.
I won't be able to make it - dammit, wish I could - can someone put a bug in John's ear to make some IFS T-shirts? I'd like to drop by AFTER the open-house, and purchase one (and look around, LOL).
It's not too soon to get the car out of mothballs, is it? Look forward to seeing the new digs. I also have a surprize for you... Chas
I'm thinking about going, if I can get away from work for the day. Too many deadlines, not enough hours..... But if the weather's nice, and I can play hooky it sure would be fun to officially get the 328 out of hibernation!
Nothing coming out of hiberation this weekend. Nice weather is not in the forecast. Here's what the NWS has to say about fri-sat:
I bought a 308 gt4 thru Martin at Cavallino Motors in Florida. The car is scheduled to be delivered to Massachusetts this weekend. Unfortunately I live on a small country road in Halifax, MA and there was no way a Semi was going to be able to get down my street. The nearest drop off point was 1.5 miles from my house. The thought of taking delivery of the car (won platinum at two cavallino classics as well as the Cavallino Cup in 2005 for best 2+2) and driving it thru the salt/sand/snow/slush to my house was pretty unappealing. John to the rescue! He offered to let the shipping company bring the car to his shop. The delivery is scheduled for this Saturday at IFS. So I guess I will be bringing my car to the open house. Thanks again John! Andrew Conti 1978 308 gt4 s/n 14412
Excellent, lucky you! I had same issue, had to meet the semi at an ESPN parking lot and drive my new baby home in a downpour.
Hope you guys have fun today. Sorry, but I'm not going to make it - IMO not a day for a long drive from the north shore. 93 south is a danger run at the best of times, but with captain invincible out in his 4x4 I'm staying on the local roads up here.
Great Time! Beautiful Shop, Great food, nice way to meet local Ferrari Folk. Thanks John - Andrew Conti Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I do not think I have ever seen so many Ferraris under one roof. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
