I am suprised that a vast majority (so far) has gone with Kimi over Massa. I think Kimi will have a good year. Yet Massa finished the season strong last year and he is already familiar with the team and all things Ferrari. I really think Ferrari is the team to beat and I wouldn't be suprised if Massa wins the WC.

Agreed I went with Massa to offset the hate towards him that everyone here seems to have lol.

Kyle, I don't think anybody really hates Massa, it is more of a belief in Kimi than an anti Massa thing.

I doubt Sato will make it to the end of the season, let alone score points. They will then replace him with Yuji Ide, the greatest F1 driver to ever live.

Fair enough, I'm still going to pick Massa over Kimi for this season, I won't be dissapointed if I'm wrong as long as one of them ends with the most points at the end of the season. I just think Massa has the edge right now and if he makes good use of it he will get the majority of the support from the team for the remainder of the season.

+1 i picked Massa as well. I think he will be ahead in the earlier part of the season, and even if Kimi quickens his pace after more seat time with the car and does manage to get ahead of Massa and start winning races, i think that Massa will still be right there (in 2nd or 3rd or whatever the case may be).
This conclusion is based on the fact that several times he kept pace with Schumi last season.

I think many will be surprised. Kimi is not as good as some make him out to be. The reason why Mclaren didnt do well is 2 fold, driver and car. I dont believe Kimi will do well in the Ferrari because he is much too hard on the car. Massa could have done better last year but was forced to hang back. In the races where MS was out of it Massa drove like a World champ. He will be heads and tails above Kimi this year.

I dunno about the Friday World Champion Davidson. He is fast and I guess we'll find out this season how that translates.

Kubica has been tipped as a future champion. I think his inexperience will still show this year, but in the long run he will outdo Heidfeld. The question is more, where that point in time will be.

Personally I can't wait for Vittel to get a race seat.

PS: There was a hoax story in one of the Polish newspapers about a fist fight between Vittel and Heidfeld. Not that far fetched: Kubica and Heidfeld are unhappy to have to share their Friday practice with the test driver.

    Nice bump!

    So the results are in:
    Code:
                                       Votes Points
    McLaren:
       Fernando Alonso 36 109
Lewis Hamilton 3 109 Eh... Tie? but not really since the board underestimated LH so much.

    Renault:
       Fisichella 21 21
       Kovalainen 17 30 WRONG!

    Ferrari:
       Massa 23 94
       Räikkönen 27 110 RIGHT

    Honda:
       Button 31 6
       Barrichello 6 0 RIGHT!

    BMW Sauber:
       Kubica 30 39
       Heidfeld 9 61 WRONG!

    Toyota:
       Trulli 17 8
       Schumacher 20 5 WRONG!

    Red Bull:
       Webber 18 10
       Coulthard 19 14 RIGHT!

    Williams:
       Wurz 17 13
       Rosberg 20 20 RIGHT!

    Toro Rosso:
       Speed 13 0
       Liuzzi 23 3
       Vettel 0 5 WRONG! (kinda)

    Spyker:
       Sutil 8 1
       Albers 28 0
       Yamamoto 0 0 WRONG!

    Super Aguri:
       Davidson 26 0
       Sato 11 4 WRONG!
So in total, the board as a whole was....

    6-4-1

or 5-5-1 if you count STR as a win since Vettel obviously wasn't an option.

    And we fancy ourselves experts....

    Same here.

Also underestimated the trouble Kimi would face getting used to the Ferrari. My original prediction of Kimi WDC 2007 has proven right after all, but that's not saying much. I withdrew it after a few races. Shame on me.

PS: At least it looks like I was right in my expectations regarding Vettel. :)
