    Why did the factory discontinue gold rims as an option after so many years? I don't think I've ever seen a Diablo, Gallardo or Murcielago with gold rims. To be clear I'm not talking about an alternative aftermarket rim. I mean a stock rim, coated. Was that just a 60's-70's thing? I think it could still work, emphasis on the word "could."

    Wasn't just a 60's, 70's thing....... they offered them up to 88.5
    I haven't seen them since.

    Very much a late 60's to early 80's thing... Gold wheels just look nasty today IMO.

    Um, I'll be nice... If you like it, great... BUT the first thing I'd do is have those repainted back to their original silver, or anthracite. ;)
