yeah....veeery nice FJ man! This special edition FJ came with a color coded roof also?....The original ones have a white top *ugh*
i drove one of these on an off-road course at the st louis car show. it really performs! i hated that off colored roof as well, but i'm a fan of yours. nice car!
thanks guys, yes the SE is the only one that comes with the black roof with a black paint scheme - it takes away the cartoon effect!! and it has all the ammenities as well as a beefy trail package. And those wheels are awesome compared to the normal upgrade options. I know where there is another one comming in to the same dealer that i got mine at. Toyota no longer makes the SE Fj Cruiser for 2007, so if anyone is interested, i can put you in touch with the dealer in upstate NY. I have no affiliation, just want to help him out since he gave mu such a good deal - $30 grand out the door - sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. In colorado, if you can find one, they are going for $37,000. Its gonna be tough deciding on whether to take the 308 out or the FJ. I do a lot of 4 wheelin in colorado, so this rig is gonna ROCK!!!!! Very impressive vehicle all around.....
Had some troubles arranging for her transport to Egypt. She will be transported on board a container vessel and it required a special vessel which could hoist her up. Not any shipping line would accept her. Finally arranged it. She will leave South Hampton, England on April 1st and arrive here on April 19th. Can't wait. That will be my new hobby for the summer . Will post some pictures once she arrives. Thanks Vasco and take care .
Tarek - congratulations, that is a seriously beautiful piece of kit - enjoy it . Now I'm tempted to come diving to Hurghada or Sharm in September just to have a go. I'll bring the Wyborowa ;-)
Excellent. And how did you know, I only drink Vodka and Wyborowa is great. Come to Hurghada, you can also visit Sharm from Hurghada and do a dive there. We will do it by boat. It's only a two hour cruise from Hurghada. I have some very close friends who own hotels in Hurghada and do a lot of diving. You will enjoy it. Just let me know and during September I will definitely be there.
2005 Z51 Vette Heavily modded with 760 HP to crank and ~ 683 RWHP c/o ATI Stage 2 Procharger (blower with 12 lbs boost), Forged internals, lowered, PFADT Coil over suspension and 13.5" Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Rears. Waiting for my new LS7X Warhawk Engine block which will allow me to put 20lbs of boost into this forged Aluminum racing block, which along with new reverse dome pistons and 7.4 Litres should get me ~ 1100 to crank - enough ponies to run in the unlimited class at the upcoming silverstateclassic (see www.silverstateclassic.com)..... That's funny..... actually the entire suspension and breaking system is new and with my newer wider ZR 345 x 30 x 19 inch rubber wheel spin won't be much of a problem except in first (and second). I'm also waiting on some parts for a steering dampener system to reduce steering imput at higher speeds. FYI.... the vette feels far more 'stuck to the road' than my TR
That's one impressive car you have there sir. It has to be a great performer. But what's with the "Dr title in front of your name? Typical vette owner . (/busting balls. I'm mad about the SNOW we're getting, needed somewhere to vent. No place better than a forum!) -Joe
I was going to joke about the suspension, but it turns out it would have been pointless! :-D What does it do in the 1/4 mile in its current configuration?
Very Awesome Car...just think how many hp´s you can get if you have the Z06...Congratulations for your nice Car.
Yowzer, any idea what kind of figures (0-60, top speed) you'll get once you've got 1100 ponies? Also is that your name on the electronic readout in the instrument cluster - nice touch!
