Just went out to look at my 8 year old 355 wheels and no place on the wheel has that rough of a finish..

Take a picture of the rear of the rim where it is stamped with the date codes and such.

my original wheels look flawless. not a single imperfection. there is no way i'm mounting this wheel.

Are you referring to the stamped letters on the spokes? I didn't see any dates.

    thanks

It looks to be a refinished wheel to me.

Did you pay big money for them?

Consider this: If you got them for a great price, then you got what you paid for. If you paid a hefty price, then you should have gotten "new from the factory" wheels.

Dont sweat the small stuff if you got a deal though.

First, nobody ever pays for return S&H since many companies make their money on S&H. Nonetheless you didn't say where you bought the wheel. That could be important to the rest of us. Sorry for your trouble.

if they say new, i expect new, regardless of price. I would pay for return S&H if i was unhappy with a perfectly good product; I would even pay a restocking fee. I refuse to pay for S&H when there was fraud involved.

This happened to be the 3rd "new" wheel i received from them. The first 2 were absolute crap that I wouldn't even put on a Pinto.

It's a long story that I will share as soon as I get my refund.

In the meantime, I am ordering from Ricambi; which is what I should have done in the first place.

Update: they came to their senses and will be covering the return shipping.

I thought 355 wheels were made by Speedline of Italy. Your picture shows Made in EU. I don't have my 355 anymore, but I somehow remember on the back of the wheel it said Made in Italy.
