Aw man! Those are bootiful. Does it make sense to buy wheels and tires for a car I don't own yet? Prolly not to the wife. I wonder why they separated the center caps? Duh, mo money.

By my calculations, that wheel tire combo is just under .4" smaller in diameter on the fronts than the stock wheels and .3" smaller in diameter on the back wheels.

I already have aftermarket wheels on my 348 that are the same size as the advertised HRE's for the rears and they work just fine. My question is the fronts. I'm running 235/40-18's right now and it seems like it was just enough of a drop over factory (only .2") to cause more spoiler scraping issues than what I seemed to notice before. This could be in my head ;-)

Can anyone weigh in on this? Also, any idea what the offset is on these HRE wheels, and additional opinions about fitting them to a 348?

they remind me of those corvete Z06 rims.

thats not to say i dont like them, because i do, but i dont think i would go with them personally because of that simple fact.

im not trying to rain on anyone parade here

they are still HRE's. do some research on those rims, because i have 2 friends who got HRE's and they had problems with them cracking beleive it or not. they were both the same model (not as these ones) so it might have just be a fluke or the rims they got, because their rims are discontinued now, so i thinksomething was up with them.

I don't believe 308/328 wheels fit 348/355 or mondial. Not unless this is an convex wheel car (that is typically an '89 model). Those interested should check the offsets of these wheels.

Saw the pics of the wheels on the 328 but IMO they look wrong. What do they look like on the 348s then?

Great looking wheels and a great price for HRE's, but they do look almost identical to Z06 wheels, which in my profession I have to look at ALL DAY......agreed they look wrong on a 328 and I bet they would have a similar effect on a 348, but to each they're own! If you like them, by all means pick 'em up!

No wonder I like them. Here are my Z06 wheels.

If I buy an aftermaket set for my car, I would look at maybe OZ Superleggeras in black or Volks wheel. Strong + light wheels.

Of the normal wheels that people put, the 348 Challenge wheels are nice though I am not sure they will withstand a lot of pothole/rough road punishment.

The 355 wheels look cool but are they lighter than the 348 wheels?
