OK, so now I am interested in what the F@CK is going on here!!!! I recently purchased a key from jimmy540 and it clearly states "Enzo key" on EBay, no way around it, its fruad if my key is not an Enzo key!!!!!!!!!!
I guess when I go to the dealer tomorrow I will have them take a look and determine what key I purchased.
I will be super pissed if I spent that kind of money for a fake!!!!!!!!! Its not like money grows on trees for me, I work damn hard for it and don't feel like getting boned by some *****!
I will be watching this thread and please keep me in the loop, will post results on my key tomorrow.

Robert, I believe Jimmy is bulls@$%ing us with the key. we were not sold what he described and as far as my purchase from Jimmy, I will bring him to the mat on this one just out of principal. For what we paid for this crap, we should have at least gotten the benefit of a proper representation as to what the key is.

Jimmy, you and I and everyone else on this thread know that you are reading line and verse of this thread. If you want to do the "right" thing before we all file an action against you, make sure to PM us and provide how much monies you are willing to return to each Paypal account, etc to make up for your shortfalls.

You have 2 days to respond.

My key is a rectangle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS FAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the Ebay site he claims he will pay back 3x if the key is not authentic. There is no doubt about it, he claims to be offering the Enzo key, period.

I bought both a silver key (612) from Jimmy, I also bought a red shield key (Enzo) key from both the dealer and Jimmy.

My dealer key (which I used for my first 550), Is Identical to my Jimmy key (for 550 #2), box, tag, sticker, etc.

No idea about the silver one, but I believe my Enzo key is 100%

I bought 2 Jimmy's keys for my 355 spider, one with shield logo and the other with the rectangular one, both red and very nice and appears to be 100% OEM.

Jimmy540 leaves me a thank you note and his business card in each purchase. I don't know Jimmy is selling the silver key but I will ask him. I have post earlier on this thread and this is growing large. Just to be fair to Jimmy540i, these keys looks great and works great.

The real issue here is whether they are authentic as being represented!

It is irrelevant at this point to discuss if they work.

I can tell you this. Jimmy's key is authentic because I have personally compare his keys with the one I purchased from Wynn store in Vegas earlier. Same Key,box, paper etc.

I returned the one from Wynn because it has been cut by ferrari, Jimmy's keys are blank. I'll try to get some picture when I get back to my office.

Again, they maybe an authentic Ferrari key, but I was supposedly sold a Ferrari "Enzo" key, period!!!!!!!!! Apperantly that is not what I have in my possesion! Its not that hard to understand, I hope.
Jimmy seems like a nice guy and all, but the facts are speaking loud and clear on this issue.

OK, I have received an email from Jimmy. He istating that he is selling 2 styles of keys on Ebay.
    1. a Ferrari Enzo "stlye" key
    2. a Ferrari Enzo key

Apperantly he has been banned from Ferrarichat and has asked me to explain this to the board. He has also stated that he will fix my problem to my satisfaction, so we will see.
I sent him a email thru the Ebay website earlier today and he has responded, so thats a step in the right direction!
I want a exchange for the real key, nothing more nothing less. I will keep all posted. I suggest sending an email thru the Ebay address since he is banned here and should be until corrected.
The thing that gets me, is I emailed him before buying and asked him if it was a real Enzo key and stillgot the shaft!

OK if you are unsure about your key this may help you. Pop the caps of your red key off using like a dime or flathead. All you will look at here is the inside of the caps, DO NOT look at the key or black key head. Alright so if you have a RED key the inside of the caps sould be solid black. If you have a silver 360/612 key than the inside should be solid silver. If you pop open jimmys RED keys they are silver on the inside with red overspray. just another way to show you that he is a scam selling altered keys. His new keys that he has posted on Ebay with a shield emblem may be fakes I am not sure yet until I trade my square logo one in for this one. most likely he is putting these caps on the keys from precut enzo keys but i am not positive. If you noticed also his price on ebay changes from 395-450 alot.

Yes I brought the Red key from Jimmy and the inside of the key was silver. He spray the red onto the silver cover. What a scram.

Sounds like when he sold all of the real ENZO keys, he thought of a way to keep the cash flow coming in with fake ones... Looks like he bought up all the uncut 612 keys and repainted them. Now we know how he bought his second 360....

Here's some free legal advice: Let this Jimmy do his own communicating! You don't want to be his conduit!

He's now actively responding, because of his possible problems with the Calif Attorney General!

After the fact corrections do not wipe out a claim of fraud, and he will not have a fun time dealing with the A.G.!

Unfortunately no, because apparently Ferrari does not, for some foolish reason, want to sell these keys any more.

Forget the California Attorney General, he sent my package via US Mail, making this a federal crime for fraud and I can have charges filed here in Alexandria, Va in Federal Court. Then he can fly here on his dime and I can drive the 15 miles to the court.
I mailed my fake key today, so wait and see. I went by the Ferrari dealer today and they confirmed FAKE!!

Guys, I have settled my dispute with Jimmy and I suggest that anyone who has issue with the transaction they conducted with Jimmy should email him through the EBay account.

While I was not happy to receive my Enzo "style" key and to learn of it being such AFTER the fact, I must say that Jimmy was very forthcoming in trying to rectify the situation and made every effort to discuss alternatives in resolving the matter.

While I would have wanted the actual Enzo key, his Enzo "style" key is very nice and, aside from the weight issue (which I resolved by the techniques discussed in this thread), I have no problem carrying an Enzo "style" key versus an Enzo key. Like I said at the beginning of this process, while we are all anal about our car, this is JUST A KEY GUYS.

So, he and I agreed on a reasonable price for the Enzo "style" key and he immediately refunded the difference to me within hours.

That is what I consider a "stand up guy".

I suggest that each of you who are unhappy send an email to him and try to resolve the matter amicably.

Good luck and let me know if I can help.

    Joe

I have watched this and the other thread in the General Forum section with interest I am glad Joe resolved his issue. I bought a Jummy key two weeks ago and got it last week, I must admit that I entered into the purchase with my eyes open the fact that Jimmy's keys did not have the correct shield and had a rectanglular Ferrari logo was clear and discussed early in the other thread I popped three nickles taped together in the head to solve the wight issue got it cut and it is great. During the transaction Jimmy was helpful and delivery was quick so I cant really say much relative to not knowing what I was getting nor can anyone who read the thread. On the other hand I also purchased a Ferrari Store key genuine except advertised as Uncut and was cut after all the getting another blank and getting it cut using my Dremmel to cut space in the head and epoxying the new cut blank in, I think the Jimmy route was actually easier and no one has accused me yet of carrying around a non genuine key they love both cause their red and unusual with a Ferrari logo on them.

    Martin
