Who is keeping this crap on the air?

 

Paid Programming...who watches this? You need to get a life, bro.

I only watch 24 and sports and news. the rest is too lame.

Deal or No Deal? (contestants seem to think they own the stage and are hot ****)
Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (same as Deal...as well as it seems like everyone acts and is way too overly enthusiastically acting)
How It's Made (good concept, horribly executed at times)
Wheel of Fortune (it's been on for a long time and the game is absolutely boring, still)
Jerry Springer (people aren't bored of trash fake fighting on stage? I guess not)
American Idol (why does this need to keep continuing?)
The Amazing Race (same ****, different season, etc)
Survivor (ugh, stupid. I hate Mark Burnett, he spawned the creation of horrible game shows)
TRL (this show is STILL popular? I'm convinced it's not, but MTV forces it down teens throats)
Rock Star (bands/musicians of ANY clout would never resort to this show)
The Apprentice (as if we don't get enough work at work, there needs to be a TV show about it)
Real World (isn't it past it's prime? 10+ years of partying gets old and repetitive)
Real World v. Road Rules Challenges (these people think they are top dog, in reality they are washed up neverbodies)
MTV: Headbanger's Ball (the new incarnation of it is horrible. If you bring the show back, make it right, get rid of Jamey Jasta and reformat it's structure)
EXTRA!, Hollywood Insider, etc (good lord people love gossip about people they would otherwise care less about if they didn't have an 8 figure income)

Can you tell I really dislike much of what is on TV?

 

Any show that says TO BE CONTINUED every single time for the rest of the series time span. Argh....

Mama's Family - someone must of lost a bet in order to keep this show aired.
American Chopper - It's a running joke.

Last Call With Carson Daly - Yawn, best way for me to fall asleep is watching this show
Daytime soaps (All My Children, Days of our Lives, One Life to Live, etc...crap)

American Chopper used to be good when it was actually about the bikes. It hasn't been since about 2003. American Hot Rod is the one I can't stomach and never could. Boyd and Dwayne are such d*cks that they have me yelling at the TV within minutes. How do I know their names? My former roommate liked it. I had to leave the room but eventually it sinks in.

 

The E! Channel as a whole, pick a show, any show, who gives a flying f-word about celebs lives, clothes, jewelry, their miserable lives...?

And I still cannot beleive that people wrap their lives around that American Idol show, content in which you can see at your local kareoke bar. But if that's all they have going then..

 

Doctor Phil - What an overflowing truck load of horse dung, with the most pompous clown on television as the host.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? - Who wants to see a hundred more commercials before they finally get around to the game?

M*A*S*H - Personally, I loathe this show. Why was it ever popular?

You and I watch the same things. Unfortunately, in the case of "24" my doctor had to increase the dosage on my HBP meds.

Right on...I mean, what ever happened to actually playing MUSIC on MTV? It's all reality crap that my roommate can't get enough of now.

 

Super Nanny, Nanny911 etc.

But the one that I never got was Wife Swap, I mean really isn't one wife more than enough?

 

I finally found a channel that actually plays music videos, and good ones at that! VH1 Classic, I get it with DirecTV. They play lots of concerts - just watched Thin Lizzy the other night. And at night they play music videos from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, with NO HOST OR FILLER.

As for what NOT to watch, Katie Couric and the rest of the network "journalists."
