The Alberta Thread!

Heading down to the auto show tomorrow night. Pity... I won't have a good camera. I'll just have my lousy point & shoot, instead of the DSLR that I was planning on borrowing. I'll post a couple of pics when I get back (don't expect Sheldon/Lucas quality).

 

I just got back from the auto show, I didnt bring my camera. But it was a pretty good show, loved the LP640..$250 dollars didnt sway the guy to let me sit in it . I really want a Trex now...$53,000, 0-100km/h in under 4 seconds.

 

You were willing to pay $250 to sit in a car? Damn dude, you must be desperate! lol

 

I can give him the benefit of the doubt simply because I have worked many auto shows. And I know that once you open the door on a nice car EVERYONE wants in. It's best when its late at nite and NO ONE around.

But anyway screw that guy! Tell him to shove that LP up his arse. When you are in T.O next visiting family again go to see Mike and the boys at Lambo Toronto I am sure you won't get attitude.

Pffft, you can sit in Lamborghini dealer cars without paying anything.

Even $50 is stupid, let alone +$200...

Salesman called security. So no I didn't get to sit in the Lambo.

You should have gone to the Vehicles & Violins fundraising/preview. For $150 you get fed & drunk, and they let you sit in as many cars as you want. More importantly, it's all for a good cause.

 

Dino is 13....he can't drink.

 

I will volunteer to take Dino's position at the V&V fundraiser. He can give me his $150 and I will get drunk enough for the both of us. I'm not always such a generous person, but if it's for a good cause I guess I will take one for the team!
