The coil over mountings for your Mondial and 308 are totally different and cannot be interchanged. Typically, the top mount of the shock must be modified to fit the Mondial mounting plate.

We mounted adjustable Konis and s/s brake lines. Overall lowered the Mondial ride height 1" lower, with ground clearence reduced at rear jack point from 5.75 to 4.75 unladen and 4.5 laden (yes, that would be me). The new units are much lighter than the original shocks/springs (also shown). You can see in the photo the round adjusting knob at the base of the shock and s/s brake line (the other line is the ABS sensing line). The rotors are drilled Brembos to fit the stock caliper.

The stock rear spring rates are 200 #/inch. As I wanted to decrease understeer and sharpen up the steering a little, our new Eibach spring rate is 225 #/inch.

While I am sure there are places in the UK to do it, I had sponsor Carobu modify a mount to fit a set of adjustable perch Koni racing shocks. Another much less expensive option is to place a sleeve and adjustable perch on the stock shock absorber.

There are a couple of threads on lowering Mondials in the tech section that can be searched.

    Good luck and have fun!

I worked with Nick and designed new mounts for the Mondi and the correct sized adjustable coilovers. I ended up with 450lb rear preloaded 2inches for 900lbs and 500lb up front no preload. this was based off the WSM cut sheets of the stock setup. Mine is now much much lower and handles sooo much better.

first pics are with it a mere 2.75" from the ground and then it's final spot of 3.5" with a rake to the front.

Scott, MM 2 wheel it looks like? I had a set of those too for a while.

I personally like basically no proload for most set-ups.....I actually have minus in the rear of my car at the moment, I need to have the rear shocks shortened 1/2".
